systemic racism is wholly disproven by the fact that the system elected a black man as its president, twice. Racism is not a policy anywhere in the US unless one wants to admit that any attempt at modern day affirmative action is systemic racism.
Its completely laughable that you old white people make such laughable claims about a system which is mostly composed of you yourselves. This board almost exclusively proves that most of you are racists, and while that is sad - its not "systemic".

Walk me through the argument. Explain how systemic racism cannot exist in a society that elects a black man as its president, twice.

Someone just proved he's willfully ignorant of what systemic racism means.

Anyone who denies what we see day after day in this country and thinks the problem is an African American problem and not a police training problem is most certainly willfully ignorant.

Because that's what racism is: willful ignorance.

Ok.
Now I am speaking in terms of reality and not some sort of "systemic racism" (sr) as a theory or concept. The former being essentially reliant on a leap of faith that says sr has to exist because the Constitution was written by racists (this "reality" logic also would require us to acknowledge "systemic sexism"). However, contemporary social and government institutions have not remained stagnant and not beholden to any tangible historical racial policy inasmuch as the modern charges of "racism" require.
So, systemic racism would necessarily have policies, programs, and procedures in place that would prevent Obama (or any black person) from ever attaining a "system" position of authority. For example, the KKK has a system of racism that prevents the Grand Wizard from being black (Clayton Bixby skit aside).
But the KKK is not the system in "systemic" as it is being charged here. So while there are racist people in our culture, and even some racist people employed by the "system", there is not a tangible system of racism in place.
... For if Obama was in charge of the plantation, he was either the master or the Uncle Tom - so which one was he?

Again demonstrating you have no idea what is meant by systemic racism.

Wrong. Nuance isn't your strong suit.
For example, the KKK has a system of racism that prevents the Grand Wizard from being black (Clayton Bixby skit aside).
So unless the system is exactly like the KKK< no systemic racism exists. You're quite the mouth breather huh.

No. Much to the dismay and outrage of white supremacists, systemic racism was not quite pervasive enough to achieve that particular result in 2016, which is why they are trying so hard to double down on that now.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

You say "systemic racism" as if it exists, as if you have proof. But what you actually have is just a theory that it "must" exist because there are racists walking around. But what you don't have walking around is a tangible explanation for the existence of a "systemic racism" in America in 2020.
Quick question for ya - why were the police called to Jacob Blake's location?

For example, I disagree with the popular argument that systemic racism is exhibited and perpetuated by the 1994 Crime Bill....even though that bill's author has just been nominated by the Democratic Party to run for President 2020.

Whereas Trump, championed the criminal reform bill, which was legislation that BLM had lobbied heavily for during the Obama years - to no avail. And yes, its a game of politics and we try to elect representatives that can play that game effectively. This anecdote provides evidence that favors Trump as #winning on this point.
Nevertheless, you're posts are ignorant and incapable of proving that something exists outside of "theory".
However, if you insist that systemic racism is actually "real" then you concede (likely from ignorance) that Biden’s 1994 bill is evidence of that existence. And yes, "from ignorance" because you were blissfully unaware of this point until now even though you will perform a frantic google search for any and all counters and apologetics on the matter.
Much like your google for any image you could stretch into a simile with Biden's hair sniffing or how you didn't know my "jungle" statement was a Biden quote.
Just go live your life, be good to others and be content that some things just aren't your thing - like political discourse and national economic theory. Be happy in your competence with other things and strive to improve by learning, not by whining.
