If I might ask, what did you learn?

Re: Climate Change
You assume that? Really? (Is anybody actually reading this thread or are they posting crap in the blind?)
Here is a part of one of my posts is this very thread and it was directed at you!
"Yes, it is obvious that humans have played - and continue yo play - a large role in climate change (global warming.) I have never implied otherwise"
So, given that, I have to ask a couple questions - How much confidence do you actually have in your assumptions? And are you reading this thread?
You're dismissed! If you reject global warming, and if you believe it's a religion for liberals and a scam perpetrated by governments and the elite in order to control the population..............
It simply can't get any richer than that. Unbelievable!Painting me as a person who paints others as a nasty people who don't give a crap about their grandkids and labeling me disgusting for it is a nasty thing to do.
Na, you probably make your mind up by relying on a strange combination - Your "assumptions" which are obviously spot freaking on and your keen mind that you have had on display lately. But continue on if you must, because if you know me very well at all, you know that I don't allow other forum participants to buy my allegiance with pats on the back or shame me into changing my mind about something.
You can overlook the insults? Man, that's about as precious as precious can get!I can overlook the insults
Re: Climate Change
Sorry, Res. You have always extended me the courtesy of answering questions I have had for you on the board - but I have got to pass at this time. If you really want to know what I have learned in this thread, read the entire thread as well as my posts in it - that should provide you with enough information. Sorry again, I just can't do it.

Part of a post I authored in this thread (it was directed at you) - "Yes, it is obvious that humans have played - and continue yo play - a large role in climate change (global warming.) I assume you reject global warming.....
If you reject global warming, and if you believe it's a religion for liberals and a scam perpetrated by governments and the elite in order to control the population.....
Part of another post I authored in this thread (It was also directed at you) - "Reasonable and balanced minded people (no matter what their political ideologies happen to be) all fully understand that climate change is real and that we ought to start seriously trying to find reasonable solutions to this issue"
Part of another post I authored in this thread - "science has provided more than enough data and information for any reasonable and level-minded person to be able to acknowledge the problem we all face concerning climate change."
But continue on if you must, because if you know me very well at all, you know that I don't allow other forum participants to buy my allegiance with pats on the back or shame me into changing my mind about something. If you can bring evidence and reason to the table, I can overlook the insults.
Okay, I brought some "evidence and reason to the table" so if you can "overlook the insults" - now what?
Missed this last time - I have no idea what you're talking about here. Someone posted a poem (I thought it was really silly to post a poem in this thread) so I went online and posted a poem that I found to be pretty cool. What the hell is with your 'the regular guy" thing? And why are you suggesting that it doesn't apply to "lil' ole me?"Although, I do find it interesting that your poem about accepting 'the regular guy' doesn't apply to lil' ole me?
Re: Climate Change
That's entirely fair, Ceebs. No one is obliged to answer my questions. I'll try to read the whole thread tonight and see if I can figure out what you learned.ceeboo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 4:13 pmSorry, Res.
