After watching the Giants post the best record in baseball, only to be beaten by the team with the second best record in a 5 game series...the Braves weren't over .500 until August 4th. Congrats for taking out the Astros, though. I'm hoping their cheating gives them something of a Ruthian curse.

Spokane Washington baseball team is called the Spokane Indians. Some people have complained. The team has conferred with leaders of the Spokane Indian tribe who have stated the use of the name is fine with them.

Perhaps some future group of Spokane Indians will feel differently , or perhaps not.
