Some things are measured subjectively and some are measured qualitatively. You seem to be judging the velocity by its hues and tones. I am cool with that. I like them Southern Delta Blues and I like pentatonic scales. I may agree with your taste but I am not disregarding the velocity.

Sequence also matters. Geldof and Ure would tell you that art makes great propaganda. Jackson (were he alive), Ritchie and Jones would also tell you that art makes incredible world-changing propaganda.

I do not think any of this linked art is a game-changer. I think that the velocity of this stuff across generations is a concern for the President, and it should be.

Sorry! I know I know I know. I don't know what it is, but I can't listen to male country singers unless it's the really old stuff or bluegrass. One of the rules in our family is who ever is driving controls the radio. So I always make sure I'm driving because if I didn't my wife or daughters would be hurting my ears with some crazy country music! I do like country rap though, does that count?
