From the link:
The Post said the shop owner, who has been identified as Mac Isaac, called the FBI, and also called a Giuliani associate. The shop owner said he believed the laptop was among equipment left by Hunter Biden, because a sticker on the laptop bore the name of the Beau Biden Foundation, a charity named after his late brother.
“Before turning over the gear, the shop owner says, he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello,” the Post said. “Steve Bannon, former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday.”
Giuliani, who acknowledged helping bring the material to light, has in the past sought to unearth information damaging to Biden with the help of a man identified by the U.S. government as a Russian intelligence officer.
So it seems whatever the timeline, the decision to share it with the Post in September 2020 was made by Steve Bannon. Why September 2020? October surprise and hope it spoiled the election, maybe?
How does this affect the understanding it was being used to create innuendo and the hint of scandal at a politically expedient point during the 2020 election?

And this matters how? If you are concerned about the children of Presidents being scummy types, refer back to the Bayrock Group and Trump SoHo comments. If you want to paint the parent by the action of their kids, I ask how Beau Biden fits in you theory?Markk wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 5:51 amStill looking

You are going to believe what ever you need to believe…look at the last link provided there is a photo of the subpoena dated Dec 2019. The FBI had it almost a year before the election.honorentheos wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:00 amFrom the link:

What do you think this means? If the laptop was picked up in December 2019 and the DOJ was aware of it, it's interesting you imagine this is sign of a cover up...unless you also see that Bannon and Rudy having access to copies that their chose to release in September 2020 should tell you the campaign viewed it as a political weapon useful in creating the appearance of scandal. Were there real issues in the laptop, it wouldn't have been beneficial to sit on that. The details, is truly damaging or a security threat, would have been more effective to torpedo Biden by letting the case be confirmed. The late release is telling.Markk wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:03 amThis might be it…

Again, what do you imagine that means? And how does that affect the timing of Bannon and Rudy taking it to the Post in September 2020?Markk wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:07 amYou are going to believe what ever you need to believe…look at the last link provided there is a photo of the subpoena dated Dec 2019. Re: NBC news story on Hunter Biden
What it means is that the FBI had it a year before the election and they let all the pun-dents and even Biden claim it was Russian disinformation…what Rudy did and what Bannon did is after the fact and irrelevant. The FBI is here to protect things like a Presidential Election…they let Trump fry and protected Biden…but again, you will believe not need to believe.honorentheos wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:13 amAgain, what do you imagine that means? Go back and watch that video I pasted that show th e media saying it was disinformation…the FBI allowed that to happen. That is exactly what I imagine what it mans Honor.

This isn't true, Markk, and shows a serious lack of understanding of how the FBI is obligated to handle evidence.Markk wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:24 amWhat it means is that the FBI had it a year before the election and they let all the pun-dents and even Biden claim it was Russian disinformation…what Rudy did and what Bannon did is after the fact and irrelevant. The DOJ acknowledged possession of the laptop in October 2020 as a counter to claims it was entirely made up.
This has zero bearing on the core issues at hand. Those being the Trump campaigns use of it as a political weapon to create an October surprise and the lack of legitimate ties to Joe Biden.
