One of my favorite places on earth. I did my truncated mission there. One of the fond memories I have is riding in the back of a Chevy Luv pickup bundled up in a sleeping bag traveling down that exact stretch of highway just before dawn. The cold was biting, but the air was crystal clear and watching the stars fade as the dawn approached was magnificent.
