Perspective in numbers
So, Joseph Smith claims he 'restored' Christ's true church in 1820 with an appearance from God and Christ himself (nevermind that there are 9 different first and second hand accounts of this).
But I digress. So in 200 years' time, 16 million of 7 billion people on earth belong to the true church of Jesus Christ, which is .002% of earth's population. It is estimated that only approx. 8 million of those 16 million are active and/or true believers and so 8 million out of 7 billion is .001%. At that rate, it would take 20 million years for every person on the face of the earth to convert to Mormonism. God still has a lot of work to do as does the LDS 'church'. The Lord is truly 'hastening the work'

You can see the apologetics change on this in terms of numbers. Early on it was a stone cut out of the mountain without hands which would roll forth and fill the Earth. Now you see talks that claim Mormonism will always be a small percentage of the worlds population.BeNotDeceived wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 7:47 pmSo, Joseph Smith claims he 'restored' Christ's true church in 1820 with an appearance from God and Christ himself (nevermind that there are 9 different first and second hand accounts of this). But I digress.
