So glad to hear she’s suing him. Certainly didn’t expect a rosebud 2.0. Hopefully she wasn’t subject to another of his”emotional” affairs where they just got naked and touched each other a little, before he came to his senses and cried about his love for wife and kids, with a culminating move to fire her to keep himself away from such temptation.

One thing is certain he sure knows how to pick “talented” women understudies and give them opportunity and encouragement to blossom like a rose. “Oh but he’s so talented” they tell me. I guess. “Talented” often seems to be code word for checking off the boxes on the narcissist checklist, these days. So there is that.

I gotta add though playing the victimization and emotionally distraught game in order to keep an excited fanbase may naturally cause these situations. I mean, just maybe? He ought to factor that in as part of the company budget.

Looking forward to the “she’s crazy” response video, confirming every onlookers own perception that she’s a little too emotional and self-deluded to take seriously. Sometimes it’s a fine line between misogyny and whatever the hells going on here.

That said, last time this sort of thing was made public, some of us spectators realized that sexual harassment did in fact happen (at least when parsing out the facts).

He still seems on good terms with the younger feisty/sassy/charismatic one - can't remember what she's called, even though she left to pursue her own stuff.

She and JD recently aired an episode where they helped a friend of hers hear the truth for the first time, and it was a very compelling interaction. I’ll give NuanceHo props for that one, and I guess my wife likes her content which is amazing because she’s pretty fickle when it comes to entertainment. She also likes Zelph on the Shelf.

And since I’m doing shout outs - RFM and Bill Reel are very compelling (I probably watch their production more than any other), Nemo and the dude that comes on JD’s show with deep dives are kino, Dan Vogel is the crap, and Philo’s intellectual curiosity is infectious. I think the common denominator among all those content creators is preparation. You can really tell when someone has done their homework, and you feel like you’re discovering new tidbits along with them. It’s very appreciated.

I started a thread a while ago asking what became of Gerardo and Jenn. Now the what portion has been answered without specifics. Sounds like we will find out sooner or later.

So this explains what Jenn has been up to.

I understood that the G-meister was moving house and there was nothing suspicious there? Has he made any public pronouncements recently? Or has he had a NDA slapped down on him?

This video feels very dramatic. I sense I may feel let down when the facts come out - if they ever do.

I've often wondered whether John Dehlin is mainly at fault here or whether he just attracts a certain type of colleague who is more vulnerable to take umbrage with his behaviours/actions?

Studio set up, tech stuff in place or “on order,’ she said. Makeover. I doubt she’d discussed it with John or the board. Was she reaching out to former guests? Badmouthing John to them? I don’t know. Well, I do know she was using the contacts she’d made on MS to generate guests.

John was super patient with her during podcasts even though she added nothing of substance. How often did he say, “Jenn, are you ok? You’re crying. This is hard for you.” And the audience would get treated to Jenn processing her faith crisis during a guest’s interview. So, I guess now she can process on her own podcast.

Wonder if Jenn will appear on an episode of Midnight Mormons? I thought Jenn added greatly as a more emotionally reactive and empathetic element of the podcast.

I remember the last time and admittedly it was pretty disturbing learning that some of Rosebud's claims seemed to be true, after all her years of stringing people along with unspecified allegations.

I apologize I'm not sure what you're asking for. If you mean there are times when men were taken down by unspecified allegations I might be miscommunicating there. I meant that sarcastically. But I imagine there are probably cases out there wherein unspecified allegations were enough to take down a dude.

Or if you're asking for times when women who worked with Dehlin complained? I'm mostly just thinking of Rosebud, but I do recall some years back Ms Kelly from Ordain Women and a few others offered similar sounding vague complaints of mistreatment and intimidation. THat's really all I had in mind with my question about more unspecified allegations.
