I will talk with Professor Barry Richins who has traveled extensively in Mesoamerica as well as the Heartland in the United States, the two main theaters of action for Book of Mormon archaeology. We discuss what he has found, and why it matters.

Ask him about finding a single shard of Nephite pottery. I thought for sure after the Hamblin-Jenkins debates that the kilns of BYU would have fired up thousands of such shards.

This has all been rehashed over and over again in dozens of podcasts and probably hundreds of essays. Michael Coe anyone? What new thing could we possibly learn from this podcast episode?

We get it. No archaeological evidence (yet). Get over it.

You probably couldn't learn anything new, even with new information, and as a friend of mine told me, get over it.

He received his Masters at University of Iowa, and has taught at 5 different community colleges, and traveled extensively his entire life, in Europe and in the Americas, both North and South, in his quest to get information on the Book of Mormon. His quest has failed, and that is what he will share tonight. He has 80+ years of experience and learning, and I am very excited to have him on tonight. He has also appeared on Mormonism Live! With Bill Reel and RFM.
