2. Why do you say this is a new development? What part is new? I ask because I don't see this as new. You're talking in part at least, about Mark borrowing from The Odyssey, right? Or is it new to you and/or your audience?
Yes he does respond to his critics in his books, and yes also I meant more or less new for me. The development of Greek epics having a large influence on the Gospels has been growing and MacDonald has yet more material to bring this out as well. I can't wait for his new book out Dec. 19th or so. It will be THE one Christmas present I want the most...
