DCP isn't often able to congratulate himself or Mopologetics without also bagging on someone or something else in the process.

Now you just have to aim for 5000. Keep moving the post goals!
I’m sure that goal is doable, just as it is doable to copy and tweak Wikipedia articles, regurgitate old blog posts, or solicit crappy reviews and low-quality articles to slap up online for the peeps. OK, maybe the last part is somewhat harder to achieve. The real question is whether it is worth the extra effort.

Dr. Peterson is welcome to quote me at this same time next year:

I predict that a year from now, Interpreter will have published something crappy every single week. I also predict that Dr. Peterson will continue to allude to books he’s “working on,” but nothing meaningful will ever materialize. He won’t actually publish a book in 2023, and if he does (just to try and prove me wrong), it will be a slipshod effort that’s published by Interpreter. I predict that he will continue to take nasty swipes at gemli and I predict that, simply put, nothing significant will change in the world of Mopologetics.

The Interpreter appears to have internalized the policy that he who serves longest winds up on top.

Speaking of anger and resentment, in a recent blog post, Dr. Peterson wrote:
(Parenthetically, the notion of “no love without the truth” really resonates with me. Some seem to imagine that it’s so important to be loving that we should mute the truth when it seems to be difficult. I think, here, of John Gee’s recent essay in Public Square Magazine: “Misusing Eunuchs: Even the best of motives do not allow us to change the commandments or remove the crosses of others.”
In a comment, Baxter999 responded as follows:
I just read Gee's article on what seem like attempts to exempt homosexuals from keeping the commandments from a Maxwell Institute publication. What in the world is going on over there? I am in the midst of reading the commentaries on the Book of Mormon and several of them seem full of woke commentary that excludes General Authority comments and replaces them with vague modern intellectual quotes. Again, what is going on over there?
Note that Gee's essay addressed an article by Mark Ellison, published in The Household of God: Families and Belonging in the Social World of the New Testament. Setting aside the issue of whether Gee and Baxter999 have accurately characterized Ellison's argument, The Household of God was co-published by BYU's Religious Studies Center and Deseret Book.

Rather than note this, Dr. Peterson takes his own shot at the Maxwell Institute:
baxter999: "What in the world is going on over there?"

An excellent question.

We absolutely have the right to “remove the crosses of others” when those crosses were made up by a false religion.

Elder Holland is not an apostle of Christ. He doesn’t speak for Christ. He is pretending to be one, and is one of those whom Christ specifically warned us about.

And even if you are a believing Mormon, you are well within your rights to dissent against leadership. It is a recent modern development in the LDS church that demands total brainless obedience to clearly misguided anti LGBT policies like the quickly reversed children of gay parents ban.

I’ve seen so many in my former ward kick back against the homophobia of church leaders, and that was way back in 2015. If the homophobic Mormons keep this up, they’re just going to accelerate the death of the LDS church.

Speaking of anger and resentment toward the Maxwell Institute, Dr. Peterson added a clarification to his comment I quoted above. He wrote:
By the way: If I recall correctly, the publication to which John Gee was responding wasn't from the Maxwell Institute -- though it certainly could have been.
That was generous of him to say.

Interesting background material for the next time someone* mentions the Three Witnesses:

* Some guy at the Interpreter has made a movie about them.

Unfortunately, these quotes are virtually unusable since we cannot cut and paste from podcasts.
