When Russell Nelson took the reigns of the LDS Church as prophet, there were many "revelations" from God. Wendy had to leave their bedroom so God would speak to Russell. There were a flurry of new ideas and tweakings of old ones, like it's a win for Satan everytime someone calls it the "Mormon" church or refers to members as "Mormons."

After the first 9 months, however, it seems there's been no reason for Wendy to exit the bedroom in the middle of the night.

Was Russell's capacity to hear new things from God reached, or maybe even exceeded?

There's only so much BS the TBMs will believe. The magic pen scheduling changes and word changes can only take a magician so far. Then, missing covid had to have been an eye opener to enough to temper the BS from spewing from his mouth. The magician was exposed there.

It's said with the hope that at some point enough will be enough, even for TBMs, but, then there is MD&D https://www.mormondialogue.org/ and the apologists over at Sic et Non https://www.patheos.com/blogs/danpeterson/. So, I would have to perhaps moderate the statement a bit. "There's only so much BS most TBMs will believe?" He said still hopeful that "most" won't have to change to "some."
