Dan just stop.

It's possible that it's true. Sure. But it's highly unlikely that the "leader" in question is one of the General Authorities of the Church, and, if some lower-level leader said what Ms. Achenbach relates, he or she was out of line with both Church doctrine and Church practice. Just off the top of my head, I can name one Black General Authority and two Black auxiliary officers of the Church who are in mixed-race marriages.

DCP is about to hit 35,000 total comments made by himself on his own blog. Imagine the books he could have written with all that free time…
Hilarious! I wonder how many people have left the church as a direct result of those angry 35,000 personal attacks?

I was surprised to learn a few weeks ago, that a hardcore TBM that used to post on Sic et Non left the church in large part to DCP's online behavior (lying, obfuscation and personal attacks) at Sic et Non. His username was Gilgamesh.

I imagine there are many more just like Gilgamesh. Keep up the good missionary work DCP!

PS I'm shocked that after thousands of comments from DCP, kiwi57 and others, that Gemli didn't join the church. Oh well, I'm sure the contact Gemli had on Sic et Non with DCP left him with a great impression of the church and its defenders.
They'll just be baptized for him when he dies, simple. If ya can't get 'em here, you can get 'em there!

Genius. I can't get enough of Tapir Dan. He communicates online like a 13 year old kid (no offense to any deacons out there).

This has always baffled my mind. The way he conducts himself I almost want to believe he is an exmo going waaayy back and has decided this is how he's going to troll the world.

But we know from experience, that he just isn't that smart.

Never ever call him "Danny"

Evidently that really gets him going

You won't like him when he's dannygurous

There is nothing....NOTHING....to be respected or admired about someone that can look as such an obvious crap load and not only accept it, but work to get others to do the same.

IMHO, the likes of Tapir Dan are poster children for the quote "when an honest man discovers he is mistaken he will either cease being mistaken, or cease being honest".

I'll give you a 9/10 for effort, but have to deduct a point because I don't see any dildos in the background.

It's funny. When I was in I looked up to these guys. I respected what they did, and thought they could do no wrong.

Now that I know what they are, I hate everything they say and every tactic that they take.

There's nothing noble about what they do or why they do it. They're dishonest and it hurts people. They're bastards.

I can’t believe there’s more than the 3 of us on this obscure website who disagree with DCP!

I'm going to have to side with DCP on this. Assuming the conversations with her leaders took place after June 08, 1978, he (DCP) is correct.

You might want to start with verifying that Achenbach was ever actually a member of the Mormon church. Try asking her for her congregation leader's name and then contacting him.

I would also like to know the name of the leader mentioned in this story, and I would like to hear whether he (or she) agrees with Ms. Aschenbach's account of what he (or she) allegedly said. In the event that Ms. Aschenbach's account is accurate, I very much doubt that it was one of the general officers of the Church because it's flatly false doctrine. If a local leader said it, he or she should be reported to higher Church authority and corrected (or released from office). During my tenure as a bishop in the Church, I happily sent at least two "mixed race" couples to the temple for marriage.
Now that Sic et Non has issued its challenges, perhaps Kirton McConkie could place a gag order on this adding fuel to the fire on Newsweek. The less people hear about this lingering racism issue the better for the Church.

On the other hand, without a full repudiation of that racial curse thing, this issue will forever be biting the Church in the butt. Oh yeah, also say you are sorry for all the trouble that curse crap has caused.
