I would argue not just leadership uses this. It’s a pretty good description of the eventual end of every debate held over Mormon positions; it’s the Mormon version of Godwin’s Law, or can we just call it the “MoreGood” variation?

Dr. Peterson makes a good argument that two young Mormons will have extra problems based on dissimilar skin colors. Can't share the same sun blockers unless a compromise is reached to use zinc oxide. That was policy not revelation in protective cosmetics!!! Japanese brides want to cover up and be pale, whereas a red-blooded Utah boy wants a bronze tan!!! Policy, not revelation.

There is a lesson to be learned here, provided that one isn’t too old to learn from one’s mistakes. Here’s the deal, Dan: You have spent close to two decades trying to exact revenge on me, and in the meantime, your flippant cruelty and your arrogant defense of the worst aspects of the Church have earned you literally *hundreds* of enemies. So, I don’t even have to lift a finger at this point: all your enemies know that all they have to do is get you to *think* I’m involved, and it will “inflame your passions.” You always used to accuse me of being obsessed, and look what became of that!
