John Dehlin has countersued today after being sued in January.

I see so many claims against JD, and I'm sure he's no saint, but when the other side of the story is presented, there is plenty of evidence to discredit many of the claims, extremely compelling evidence. If Amber has taught me anything, it's that people aren't big fans of false accusers. Based on the evidence, does Jenn Kamp have any credibility? To paraphrase Pres. Ballard, where does she go from here?

Rosebud did a great job of making any future claims against Dehlin look spurious.

Good, Lord. I’m listening to RFM’s reading of the countersuit, and Jenn Kamp is delusional and entitled (if the details he read were factual). Also, making $60k bumped up to $80k/year was bananas! She was hampering Open Stories Foundation’s product with her obviously unprepared co-hosting appearances. Crazy.

eta: Demanding a 24-hour notice in order for her to show up to work??? Lol, what?!

eta2: She claims he “physically threatened” her? And then she “deleted” the evidence? What?

eta3: OH crap! Open Stories Foundation HAD SECURITY FOOTAGE OF THE ALLEGED INCIDENT AND Jenn Kamp WAS BUSTED LYING!!!

eta5: She claimed she didn’t have time to address her problems even though she took up the lion’s share of time at a meeting set up so she could address her problems, which she never did!.

eta6: An Open Stories Foundation board member stated Jenn Kamp made an inappropriate joke to Dehlin! Oh, how the tables turned! And Jenn Kamp was lying about an inappropriate video shared by Dehlin, which was just an innocuous video of a guest they were vetting and was shared to get her approval, which she approved!

eta7: Ew. She made up a greasy allegation about Dehlin kissing his wife in front of her and that he wanted to do the same to her. Margie Dehlin firmly denies this happened. Gross move by Jenn Kamp, if her allegation is untrue.

eta8: Jenn Kamp claims Dehlin withheld payment from her and Open Stories Foundation owes her overtime, even though she was responsible for tracking employee hours and payroll? And she was told not to work more than 40 hrs/week, so why would there be over time? What?

I didn't listen much because honestly this all feels so silly and childish.

let's see, they hired her, basically, immediately they saw she was not doing her job and stealing money so they promoted her again and again? Knowing this Dehlin gave her more opportunities because he was so kind and supportive and it's noted when she started she was paid more than she was paid at her previous job (lol that's just a snippet I captured as I skimmed)? And, it sounds like, from the moment she was hired until her unwelcome firing she spent her time yelling at Dehlin?

And Dehlin wants to sue her?

I'm not at all challenging the allegations against her nor her allegations against Dehlin or the Open Stories Foundation...I just find it all very comically yet sadly weird. And sometimes that catches my attention, for some reason.

I think the case is related to her unsubstantiated claims in a youtube video regarding JD.

She filed against JD first, and made a video about all of this. JD then counter-claimed. RFM beautifully reads the counter-claim and that's where all the negative stuff comes out against JD.
