My, man. That link reads like the ravings of a conspiracy-obsessed lunatic.
Does that have any bearing on the truth or falsehood of the information therein?

My, man. That link reads like the ravings of a conspiracy-obsessed lunatic. Please answer questions 1-5.

1. I don't know who Marco Polo (the guy behind the site) is. But that shouldn't matter as you know. See Dr Shades' response.

2. It's obvious you don't want to know.

3. See the report. It shows a chain of custody at the end of the report, and it starts from the clean copy the repair shop owner made. Now and I'm sure you will jump up and down over the fact that Guiliani is part of the chain of custody. Hence the stories about fabrications/additions to the hard drive that are floating around. However, early in the report are two forensic reviews of the hard drive Marco Polo has and these show no tampering or changes. Also, keep in mind that if this is an issue and it really isn't, the laptop is verified, but if it remains, the FBI has the laptop in its possession and we could go through the ritual of a forensic analysis and have the media attention it brings. But, your team is trying to move on at this point and doesn't want to go down that road.

4. Again I am for this and would myself if I had it. The FBI does and publishing is only a subpoena and lots and lots of fighting away from granting your wish.

5. You never asked a fifth question.

Let me ask you this: if you were on a jury and the prosecutor showed unimpeachable evidence that Joe and Hunter were bribed by Burisma to fire Shokin, would you convict or would you act like the jury did in the OJ case?

If credibility has any bearing on the source of that information, then yes. Of course.

I'll admit I'm not a student of the "biden laptop" scandal, I have the least background knowledge of anyone on this forum, but if the claim is focused enough I don't mind doing some reading.

The document linked is 640 pages long. I can fairly say that If someone were to point me to a 640 page document about how bad Trump is, I wouldn't read the whole thing.

I will take this as the representative claim from Dr. E:

"So what if Joe and Hunter received $5 Mil each to get rid of Shokin"

By "representative claim" I meant the strongest claim, such that if I research it and come to believe it's bunk, then I take that to mean the entire laptop controversy is bunk. If it's true, then that's big enough to take Biden down, I imagine. Since congress is all over impeachment I don't see why it won't happen.

with 60+ totally shot-down election cases to a right-wing Supreme Court, with Rudy being a major player in that, and Rudy also being the main player in the laptop scandal -- Rudy basically being an unhinged and obvious liar as the leading lights of the MAGA party are, I note the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf, that I'm not going to go down endless rabbit holes looking for what's next.

If somebody has done the research themselves and can point me to a range of pages in that 640 that will get me started on the "5 mil shokin" stuff, I'll take it from there.
We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.

The question that persists for me is why does anyone give a crap? What does this lead to? So what if Hunter Biden is guilty/jailed? What does it have to do with anything?

The GOP's hyper-focus on this has no foreseeable end game. It's just something they feel good whining about to get the base rallied. It's not a good look for a bunch of people who hate being condescended to for being dumb.

the claim is that Joe received 5 mil as well as 5 mil for Hunter, in order for Joe to "get rid of shokin". So the claim is about Joe, not Hunter. The evidence is on Hunter's laptop.

I guess you must have to be in the conservative radio bubble to hear this stuff. Until there's corroborating evidence of criminal behavior on Joe's part, I'm going to assume it's another right wing fiction.

And even if Joe is indicted, we'd have a choice between and indicted incumbent and a twice impeached, three time criminally indicted ex-president who still can't acknowledge his election loss because of his cripplingly insecurity, not to mention encouraged treason against our country. Criminally receiving 5 million is known in the Trump family as "Tuesday."

Not much of a choice, but not a hard one either.

Here is a press release from Senator Grassley regarding FD-1023, a document prepared by the FBI about the alleged Biden bribery scheme with the Burisma executive regarding Shokin. https://www.grassley.senate.gov/downloa ... ley_-biden

Nothing really to see according to democrats, so by all means don't look at it.

Here is a Newsweek article outlining the positions of the two sides: https://www.newsweek.com/burisma-owner- ... New Testament-1814424

Rest assured there is some push back by democrats as quoted in the article. So, its safe to read.

The investigation continues with Archer, former Burisma board member along with Hunter, scheduled to testify before Congress on Monday. He is purportedly going to say that the President was part of his son's business dealings, contrary to what he, the President, previously claimed. Stay tuned.

Dr. Exiled, what is an FD-1023?
he/him
we all just have to live through it,
holding each other’s hands.
