It’s a shame that case against the church in ?Arizona did not prevail in terms of holding Bishops accountable for failing to report. Many Canadian Provinces have made Clergy mandatory reporters. Easier to prosecute clergy who are in the know that way.

His case could remain open if their building their case slowly.

It’s also true that the youth of men whose fathers or grandfathers hold high positions in church get soft disciple. This is what I heard. There is a term in Mormonism called Mormon roulette. Meaning a couple or person could be treated harshly with one Bishop while another treats them kindly.

For Dr. Shades, and yes, I’m drunk. About five states have clergy, client privilege where clergy don’t have to report child abuse to social services or the police. Now for the heavy one and true story: out of the presence of the jury. I read a card to the judge saying the information I have is privileged and the right of the minor outweighs the right the jury’s right to know. My information is privileged and if ordered to testify, I will but request “ in camera” The judge was so intelligent and kind and spoke for about five minutes then ordered the jury to return and ordered me to testify about my case in open court in Los Angeles County.
