Boylan backs out

After spending a great deal of time challenging people to debates and then calling them cowards for politely refusing, Boylan finally got a debate with Jimmy Akin concerning the reliability of LDS scripture on the Pints with Aquinas podcast (owned and hosted by Matt Fradd). Boylan practically begged for the debate even going so far as to threaten to never let Matt Fradd hear the end of it if Boylan wasn't allowed to come on his show.

A few hours ago Boylan backed out of the debate. A truly ironic turn of events.

Boylan needs help, and fast. If this behavior isn't a cry for someone to throw him a lifeline, I don't know what is.

Smoot, Rappleye, Parker or anyone who knows Boylan personally, please reach out and make sure he is okay.

Robert “chickened out” Boylan is so typical of these mouse-brained keyboard cowards who talk soooooo much crap and they back out out because they know they’ll get their asses handed to them. Podcasting is hard work for typically no payback. Antics to generate buzz, negative or positive, are to be expected. That being said, ultimately it all comes down to content and whether there is an audience for that content. It seems like maybe Boylan is beginning to realize how small the audience is for his particular product. It’s possible this message board is half of it.

I guess this is the BOB now.
