What’s the word for someone who has hindsight bias, but it’s in real time, instead?

Apologies. I thought I was replying in a quote window, not an edit window. I'll undo.
Are you damned kidding me? You write this response INTO MY POST, THEREBY AGAIN MISUSING YOUR MOD POWERS TO EDIT A POST OF MINE.

Get your damned crap together, fix this, then retire as moderator.

Res Ipsa, did you use your moderator powers to EDIT MY POST???????

You need to do a damned bit more than undo, you piece of crap. What an unbelievable misuse of your moderator powers. What the actual “F”, you idiot.[/quote]
Marcus, it's an accidental click of a button. I did not change the content of your post. Just as I would do when I click the quote function, I added text as a response. To "undo," I just delete the text I inserted.

I'm not the only one who has accidentally done the same thing. When it happens, we fix it.

I did have to delete hard returns from memory, and I apologize if you have to adjust the paragraphs.

Get your words out of my last post (see below)and quit abusing your moderator powers. "Oops my bad" doesn't cut it, and no, no one else makes these errors because almost no one else has your mod powers. Your abuse of these powers is not excused.

No, I didn't. If you look at the series of posts, there is a problem with the quote tags in one of the posts. As we responded using the quote function, the problem was replicated in subsequent posts. You posted your question in big font. The next post is mine. If you look, you'll see that, whatever reason, the quote function failed to mark your question as a quote. So, it appears that your text is written into my post. When you responded, the same thing happened, only it's my text that the quote function didn't properly mark. I did not write my response into your post.

I'll leave everything intact so you can follow the sequence and see for yourself.

ETA: Ok, I found it. There's an extra close quote tag visible at the end of this post: viewtopic.php?p=2847960#p2847960 That appears to throw off the quote function. In the next post, which is my post, the same extra close quote tag appears after what should be the quote of your previous post. But there's no corresponding open quote tag. So what should be the quote of you appears to be part of my post.

In the next post, which is yours, the same thing happens, but the open quote tag is missing at the beginning of what should be a quote from the previous text. So my text, which should appear as a quote, appears to be part of your post. Same problem as the prior post, only with our positions flip flopped.

No, I didn't write anything in that post. There's a missing quote tag. See the close quote tag after my sentence? The open quote tag is missing.

“F” off with your excuses, brad. You misused your mod powers and its inexcusable. And keep your pms to yourself. I have no interest in a private apology for your public “F”-up.

Just my 2 cents ref Bednar equating SSA to a disability - I thought that’s what he meant; it seemed clear to me.

Yes, me too. Especially given his previous comments and stance.

Marcus, I publicly apologized. I have not PM'd you a private apology. You sent a PM to the mod team, including me, and Shades. I responded to the content of your PM using the reply all function.

I've apologized for my mistake and removed the text I added to your post. I have also addressed your incorrect accusation that I added text to a second post of yours. Given the tone of your last several posts, I think it's understandable that you misinterpreted what had actually happened. After all, to err is human.

Agreed.

I bet if you asked Bednar if he believed someone that never had a left hand would have one in their resurrected body that he would agree. I served with a missionary that never had a left hand, never formed, so she has none to be restored to her if you want to be quite literal. It's not like someone who lost one due to accident or health problems in life. I would bet he also might concede homosexuals don't choose to be homosexual, at least not all of them, but that in the resurrection they are going to get restored to a proper heterosexual body.
