It's not surprising really. She would have been so much better off had she just dropped the whole thing and moved on with her life. Her compatriots seem to have given her really, really bad advice. And I doubt they will pick up her third of a million dollars in legal bills.

I think in her head she was the woman strong enough to finally stand up to John’s “pattern of abuse.” The only problem was that all of these women conflated their gripes with John together. Was he sexually harassing them? Or just underpaying them? Was he forcing them to watch porn, or just asking that they come in to work at an inconvenient time?

None of these women could separate the workplace gripes with a boss from the wild accusations that John is also a sexual predator. It makes any third party extremely skeptical that these are real stories. From the outside, all of this looks like they’re just upset that John is the founder with the control and making the most money.

That was a thorough and brutal order. At the hearing, the judge said he was having trouble deciding whether Kamp was genuinely confused or was lying. I guess he made up his mind after studying the documents.
