In retrospect I do not recall anything offered by Nibley that mentions the problem between the 2300 BC dating in which Egypt was founded according to scriptural claims vs. what secular science proves to be much earlier and nobody ever complained about it. How is that Nibley just kept his mouth shut and ignored the elephant in the room? How is that Gee and his cronies do the same thing today? Don't you find that fascinating how church apologists ignore this vital topic?
I find it quite satisfying to shove this down Gee's throat and call him out and now you are broadcasting it and a lot of people will catch on and begin to realize that scriptural dating claims are utter BS and how the cornerstone of the Book of Abraham has been yanked out of its position and the whole house of cards collapses. Really, Philo, you have all the high cards now and can can stuff it in their faces and watch them freak like a deer in a headlight being run over by the invincible power of science that is based on reality rather than religious faith.
Thank you for picking this up and running with it. You are totally empowered and there is nothing the apologists can do to counter your claims because you are backed by world scholarship. There is no power on earth or in heaven that can justify Book of Abraham claims about Egypt's making. The party is over and it's time to draw the curtain and expose the lies of the church and its scholars. You deserve as much credit as you want. Just put my glove on and go for it. Smack them down!
