I recall when Greenspan, the Randian economist who was unfortunately taken seriously, admitted that markets, it turns out, do not behave rationally and self-correct. Too bad we still have not figured out that wealth does not make right or prove genius. We have fools with billions of dollars in wealth who are convinced they know what is best deciding our politics for us.

This is true in both major parties, but one, the GOP, is fully prepared to cast aside the last century of hard-won political and social lessons, or, really, any pretense of republicanism and democracy to insure its permanent hold on power. I think we are looking at one-party rule for which Trump will be the gateway.

Please! The deep state will be in control regardless. As I said I'll be voting Democrat. I don't think Trump can fix the economy at this point and my vote could do more damage to the country than me actively taking up arms against it. Best of all, it's perfectly legal.

Unelected bureaucrats who were appointed by previous Democrat administrations colluded with Obama appointed justices in partisan Washington D.C. to overturn the 2016 election. They targeted and dug for anything they could find to convict anyone who worked for the Trump campaign on in his cabinet. Eric Holder said exactly what they did when explaining what he feared Republican administration might do to him. This is why Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro are in jail for doing the same thing Hunter Biden did, refusing a congressional subpoena.

The US is already a dictatorship. It became a dictatorship in 2016 when Democrats in the deep state refused to accept the results of the 2016 election, then went on to cheat in the 2020 election. They did this through things like the FBI suppressing information on Facebook or CIA agents swearing affidavits that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. That's not ballot harvesting but it is a violation of Freedom of Speech. Without Freedom of Speech, you don't really have democracy.

That’s literally witness tampering is and exactly what a fascist does - bribes and pay offs to loyalists.

I told you. Government censorship of political speech, especially speech that turns out to be true, is a form of rigging an election. It's cheating. If you don't have free speech, you can't have democracy.

And we need to start having voter ID. Until then, the public has good reason to question election results. There's too much room for fraud.

Only after initially defying the subpoena, did Hunter testify. Did Hunter ever end up testifying publicly? And there should be opposition party oversight of Merrick Garland and the partisan DOJ. Nobody on this board gave a rip about public trust in the DOJ when Bill Barr was attorney general. They wanted to impeach him.

You can see this in Kishkumen's posts. He's perfectly fine with using any means necessary to keep Trump out of office regardless of what the voters say. This is the same attitude that fills the Democrat party. The only time Democrats respect election results is when they win. They have no moral inhibitions about this double standard. Yes the very people who claim to be saving our democracy are the same people who prefer a dictatorship if it lines up with their ideological agenda. Whether you think they're right or not for doing so, you'll never be able to convince me that this is in fact democratic. You might as well keep shouting the ocean is red.
