I didn't know women could do that until I was at uni. I was on the bus and two of my dorm mates (if you like) were on the bus and they had bought some personal items and were talking about them. I was like what does that mean? What are you talking about? They said it was like scratching an itch. Lol. I hadn't heard of other LDS females doing that. Interesting that Queen Victoria said that. Do you think it was that she believed women wouldn't or that she wanted to let women do it? What about when women used to go to the doctor to be cured of hysteria?

Like IWMP says above, perhaps Victoria was that much smarter than the men around her, who believed what she wanted them to believe. In any case, I have long believed that Mormon sexual culture was very much stuck in Victorian attitudes and ideas, if not worse.
