When making comments online about Donald Trump, I have often been accused of having “TDS,” meaning “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Are they accusing me of letting hatred cloud my arguments? Dan Peterson often refers to this board as the Peterson Obsession Board. He is trying to discredit the content and people who inhabit here. I don't know if he has ever appeared here and responded to any critiques of Mormon scriptures or history. There seems to be especially an obsession about the comments made by a participant Scratch who seem to have an acrimonious history. Perhaps also Shulem.

This board has provided for me much great information on issues like DNA, archaeology, and Book of Abraham issues. It has even had some believers venture here to debate like McGuire. I’d like to ask anyone here to give me a list of some of the most compelling debates that have occurred here.

For compelling debates, there was a great one waged as a board war between here (Beastie, If I recall correctly, spearheading the charge) and Peterson and a small flock over on MAD (Mormon Apologetics and Discussions) in late 2009, early 2010, over the discovery of the "Second Watson Letter" (just a fax from Carla Ogden as it turned out).

I have no idea how his malevolent fixation on me began. But I no longer give it much thought -- if, indeed, I ever did. It's just one of those unpleasant givens in life, like the taste of liver, the "Scooby-Doo" movies, and the smell of a pigsty.

He's never given it much thought. The term "Malevolent Stalker" only makes up 10-25% of his blog posts over the last 15 years...

Speaking of Dehlin, I'd love a post or podcast about your time at Mormon stories. We don't get to see much insider information, aside from Rosebud and Kamp. And those views seem pretty skewed and unreliable.
