If in mainstream Mormon thought, Mormons are against caffeine, are they against tryptophan too?

Tryptophan is basically caffeine in reverse, right? So if you can't have one, can you have the other?

If by any chance (as the less-than-friendly engagement at https://www.christianforums.com/threads ... o.8304039/ is an omen to) you recognize this question, yeah this is attempt two and was urged to relocate (otherwise this question may as well be an afterthought).

Hi SweetestSpirit, there may be a touch of humor in your question but no Mormon has ever or will ever loose any sleep worrying over it.

Tryptophan was unknown at the time Joseph wrote his health recommendations. It would need to be added to page 1499 of The Unwritten Rules of Order.
