Chap, Bills link provides some examples. Democrats claim Jan 6 affair at the capitol was an insurrection but there was no organized army or tanks just nice folks the police let into the building to look around. Or perhaps more realistically there is Trump's comment about dictator on day one which he meant humorously but Democrats without humor take seriously.Then there is the saying , there were good people on both sides, which was part of a meandering Trumpian obfustication that conservatives insist did not mean what it sounded like.
