Is it, though? Or is the myth of it being a thing prolific among folks who share thinking where progressive politics are seen as aligned with evil? So the concern towards Trump regaining office can be easily dismissed if you make it a form of irrational thought rather than based on the events of history?

Is it, though? Or is the myth of it being a thing prolific among folks who share thinking that sees progressive politics as an evil? So the concern towards Trump regaining office being easily dismissed if you make it a form of irrational thought?

It’s all projection and theater because, well, see OP.

For example, if one wanted to make the case Trump stole classified information and passed it to foreign governments you could walk a Trumper through the following:

• ⁠He first lied about having the documents.

• ⁠Then he lied about returning the documents.

• ⁠Then he bragged to his Mar-a-Lago guests he had secret documents that he knew he shouldn't have. Even shared classified intel with random guests who he wanted to impress.

• ⁠Then he had his staff move around the documents to hide them from investigators.

• ⁠Then he lied that he had returned all the documents while he still had more in other rooms.

• ⁠Then he had guests from saudi arabia, china and other countries over and told them where to go to find the documents where there was a copy machine in the same room.

• ⁠Then he kept lying to the FBI that he had no documents.

Lying to the FBI is bigly criminal, which is why his handpicked judge is doing everything in her power to stall, delay, and destroy the case. Because once that case starts he IS going to jail.

Their response?

Again, it's not a myth - it is absolutely a thing. The suggested alignment with evil, while an interesting topic in my opinion, is a completely separate topic all together.

TDS has literally broken the minds of thousands and thousands of otherwise rational people.

Truth: Each side is deeply concerned about their preferred candidate not winning. All of us must choose between the only two options we have (unless you throw your vote away) - I understand that many on this board are deeply troubled by the thought of a Trump victory. I am as deeply troubled by the thought of a Harris victory. Given that, what, if anything, shall we do?
