I did suggest "Ceeboo", but I don't think mom and dad are on board.
"Ty Cobb." Or "Al Kaline" if you're worried about bad karma.
Two great suggestions, in my opinion - But Dad is from New York, so I don't think either suggestion would be considered.
My SIL (Great guy) is Jewish. He tells me that it is a Jewish tradition to name the first boy after a family member who is deceased. His grandpa's name was Jack - They have been thinking about Jack James (JJ).
Congrats Ceeboo. I'm kinda baby hungry myself. However, I don't want to be in my 70's when the child graduates from high school. I guess I have a couple of more years to work with, lol.
You must be excited. I know I would be.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Considering I will indeed be in my mid 70's (God willing) when my grandchild graduates from high school, I wanted to thank you for providing the wonderful thought/reality.
South American drug lords are also big family men and care about their children and grandchildren. What they don't care about is other people's children and grandchildren. I mean, I guess if a big cartel boss joined the forum and announced he was having a grandchild we'd at least be happy he wasn't on a bender and out to kill everyone in sight, family or not. So there is a limited good there.
It's easy to want the best for your family while pressing a red button -- while wearing a red hat -- to have other families held in detention centers. Which is now ramping up again to the cheers of the people. I hope for the best for the grandchild. Assuming he or she grows up with a conscious and a working moral compass, it will be possible for the grandchild to both love his or her grandparent and also realize the the grandparent was a moral failure.
I am, of course, not pronouncing judgment upon anybody in this post, I'm merely pointing out possible states of the world.
Lost Gospel of Thomas 1:8 - And Jesus said, "what about the Pharisees? They did it too! Wherefore, we shall do it even more!"
