Try this.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Trump has so far stopped a full blown riot.
That he caused. Funny how that works.

The democrats deported easily because the right and left wing press supported it.
Yeah, maybe because it wasn't being done in the same ghoulish, illegal way that it is being done by Trump at the behest of the toxic, evil spider on his left shoulder, Stephen Miller.
If you have been paying attention the LAPD stated they are overwhelmed. Trump has so far stopped a full blown riot. You again in your bubble have no idea what is going on in these hot beds.

The first efforts were the LAPD and Sheriffs department that are politically hamstringed by Newsome and Bass. But I am sure you appreciate thugs looting stores and stoning law enforcement burning American flags while waving Mexican and Central American flags.
That is not for you to decide. It is not for them to decide. It is for pertinent local and state authorities to decide. Burning and waving flags are expressions of free speech. I don't care about either action. A flag is a symbol, not a sacrosanct religious relic. Get a grip.

He hasn’t stopped crap. He started a riot, just like he did 2020, the riot stopped by other means, and then He sent troops, and now nationwide protests are increasing.
We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.

Exactly. This tactic is literally part of the authoritarian playbook.

1. provoke resistance to your actions
2. declare resistance illegitimate and exaggerate its impact
3. send in the troops to handle the fake emergency
4. continue to use the power you stole for yourself and dare anyone to stop you, which leads back to #1

A conversation about LA and involving folks who live there, presented for people like Ceeboo, who believe that the entire city is in flames and under siege from lawless hordes of immigrants…

The mayor of LA ordered a curfew, for some reason.

Here is an article explaining that it's not quite choir boy level in LA and perhaps just maybe the curfew and a police presence that actually quells the violence is necessary:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... tests.html

It's always a minority few that spoil the game but they are spoiling the game, despite what is convenient to believe. Now Trump jumped the gun and didn't follow proper procedure. Newsome has the power to send in the guard or not and Trump needs to invoke the insurrection act to deploy troops.

However, everyone needs to chill out a bit. Blowing up your own neighborhood isn't the answer when you don't like something.

Trump's having the immigration court judges dismiss cases and then having ICE outside waiting to arrest the immigrants is total BS and the immigrant's lawyers need to be ready to move the court that is dismissing the case for an emergency stay to the dismissal and an emergency request for parole pending appeal of the dismissal. Then, if the lower courts deny the petition, appeal it to the higher courts and let's have the higher courts give a rational process for determining the rights and status of these individuals. It's a mess created by a disastrous open border policy, but a heavy hand isn't the answer. Also, acting like children and burning cars, looting, and throwing rocks at cars isn't the answer either.

Let's calm down before we end up in a civil war down the road. As a reminder the causes of the civil war we had smoldered for years prior to the first shots at Ft. Sumter.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Could well be. And I tend to think that the LAPD has what it takes to deal with that problem in a few blocks of the city.

If only Trump could leave well alone.

Indeed. And that is the point, isn't it? No one denies that there has been a reason to have local law enforcement present to take care of the lawbreakers. What they aver, accurately, is that the incidents of disorder have not reached an order of magnitude in which the insertion of the National Guard, let alone Marines, is necessary or even helpful. Governor Newsom has pointed out that National Guard units were yanked from important duties to star in the Trump show. It is pathetic to watch people defend Trump's transparent overreach or attempt to forward the argument that any unrest justifies Trump's lunacy.
