It hasn’t worked with you. You’re rude, you lie, you deceive, you bullied a dying person just for the hell if it. The gospel you say you believe in has not made you a better person. It’s made you a significantly worse individual. And the beauty is that people don’t need to take my word for it. You’ve splattered the evidence all over this board and its previous iteration.
Yes, a lifetime of Mormonism has done wonders for MG. MG is a perfect example of the fruits of Mormonism.

Keep up the great missionary work, MG.
Wang, this is getting tiresome. If you continue coming back to this trope it will be very difficult to carry on a conversation with you.

If you would like to add to the discussion in a substantiave way please feel free to do so.

MG, Russel M. Nelson taught:
Each member can be an example of the believers. Brethren, as followers of Jesus Christ, each of you can live in accord with His teachings. You can have “a pure heart and clean hands”; you can have “the image of God engraven upon your [countenance].” Your good works will be evident to others. The light of the Lord can beam from your eyes. With that radiance, you had better prepare for questions. The Apostle Peter so counseled, “Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you.”

Let your response be warm and joyful. And let your response be relevant to that individual. Remember, he or she is also a child of God, that very God who dearly wants that person to qualify for eternal life and return to Him one day. You may be the very one to open the door to his or her salvation and understanding of the doctrine of Christ.

MG, I know as a self-appointed missionary, it bothers you to no end that I'm pointing out your dishonesty, hypocrisy, personal attacks and trollish behavior.

It's important to show the lurkers and everyone else here that you have nothing to offer. Why would anyone want to join the same church that has molded you into such a dick?

I appreciate the scripture quotes and words from the prophet. I heartily endorse those words and try to abide by this council. I'm not always perfect.

On the other hand I do not appreciate the caricature that you are attempting to build in regards to my behavior on this board.

I will not continue to go back and forth with you in an unhealthy way (calling names, etc.). In fact, with you in particular, I will turn the other cheek and treat you with the respect you deserve as a fellow traveler and child of God.

I know I have called you out as a liar in the past. You may or may not be a liar. I have my own opinion in the matter but will no longer make an issue of it from this point onward.

I think that we can all try to be more Christian in our behavior. I will do my part to support that notion as I would hope you will also.

My wish is to be an example of the believers and stand up for Christ and His Church. If I have failed at any time to be that example I am willing to do my part in becoming a better 'man of Christ' and follow His example.

Best wishes.

Among some. For others that are active and believing members of the church it is the gospel of Jesus Christ itself that plays a very important part in transforming from the natural man to a more pure and holy vessel that God can work through and with.

I only take exception to one thing. Your assumption that, but for Mormonism, MG 2.0 would not be worse than the rude liar and bully that we see splattered all over this board. Sure, the MG 2.0 as demonstrated and revealed here by his splatterings is a low-life, but maybe not as low as the depths he has reached at times in his life when his fealty to the Brethren has waned a bit.

I will say to you pretty much the same as I've said to Wang. I will not fall prey to the caricature building that is used in order to 'build up' those that find themselves in the 'critic camp' on this board. With you also, I will turn the other cheek and take what comes my way from you.

I will only engage with you and Wang, along with some others, when I can see that there isn't a risk of being misunderstood or being misinterpreted (good luck with that, right?). As Shades said on another thread, our time is too valuable for that nonsense, and I've fallen prey to falling into 'traps' in which I've spent too much time simply wasting time talking to others about "he said, she said" sorts of things.

I don't want to do that anymore. That's not what I'm about and that's not why I'm here. Life's too short.

You have the last word, sock puppet.

Best wishes.

Hey Board Members--maybe we ought to start wagers on how long MG 2.0's other cheek will last.

If it's a monetary thing where I get the cut of winnings if my cheek remains intact, I will very possibly have to give out information for my Venmo account.

Ha ha. Probably not.

But I suppose it depends on how much money ends up in the pot.
