Prior to posting in this thread a few days ago, I took the time to read through the entire discussion, and it appears that Res Ipsa initiated this thread specifically for you and Jersey Girl. You, more than anyone else in this thread, are highlighting specific rules and detailing the exact numbers associated with them, along with reasons for their adherence.

Across the extensive board spanning hundreds of pages, you, more than anyone else, including Canpakes, are directing blame at various individuals, urging Shades to either ban them or confine their content to Spirit Prison.

A few weeks ago, I came across a thread where we were bothering a user named Leeuniverse to the point that he stopped posting for more than a year! You pressured the individual off the board, and it was a deliberate action on your part. You exhibit a harsh and spiteful nature, both in your role as Marcus and as Lem.

Cease attempting to manipulate the rules to benefit your progressive allies. You lack the intelligence to engage with me effectively. I recognize the kind of person you are, my experience in various women's psychiatric hospitals has equipped me to handle individuals who may be experiencing instability, meaning, I understand who you are.

The context matters. In this case, an image posted by Hound once was a simple derail, so he appears to be using his misunderstanding of derails to claim that posting images is always bad. Or something like that.

Canpakes applies a completely different set of rules for me and other conservatives compared to those he has for his progressive friends on the board. If I post an image without context, Canpakes, the moderator, views it as a derail, but if Wang Chung or Dr. Cam posted an image without written context, Canpakes allows the post to stay on the board.

Additionally, Canpakes has targeted me by initiating a thread to dismiss my post that he disagrees with, which, by all ethical and fair moderator standards, contradicts the principles a moderator should uphold if fairness is a standard on a discussion board. Throughout my time posting on this board, Canpakes the moderator has never reached out to me privately to request that I stop any behavior that violates the rules. He prefers to conduct all his moderating in plain sight, where his friends can observe, as it has turned into a game for him. All ethical standards for moderating a discussion board have been disregarded when it comes to Canpakes' behavior as a moderator.

Huckleberry, Could you please share your honest opinion on the matter at hand regarding the board? Last week, I shared a parody thread featuring images and a video clip from the movie Spaceballs. Immediately after posting, Canpakes removed my thread and placed it within his own thread that he created specifically for my posts he disagrees with. Do you believe that action is just? If I broke a board rule, why not banish the post to Prison?

So I asked Dr. Shades if I could post it, and he said it was fine to post it exactly as I had written the thread from the beginning. So I politely asked Canpakes to return the thread to the main body of the spirit paradise board. However, Canpakes, out of spite, still won't remove the thread from his own personal thread, the one he created as a moderator, even though Dr. Shades approved it. Do you believe that if Shades allows me to post a thread, Canpakes should decline to move it to the main section of the forum?

What we are confronting here is Canpakes' ego, straightforward and unambiguous. Canpakes, as a progressive, faces a dilemma with my criticism as a conservative democrat on the board. He cannot resolve the situation he created because restoring my thread to its rightful place would make him appear weak. His progressive allies might then privately message him, labeling him a coward for conceding to Dr. Shades.

Many of the conversations taking place in Spirit Paradise revolve around Canpake's ego and his tendency to favor his progressive friends.

I forwarded it to Dr. Shades, and he gave his approval, stating that it is perfectly fine to initiate a parody thread. However, despite having permission from Shades, Canpakes still refuses to restore the thread to the main body of the forum. Now, Huckleberry, I fulfilled my responsibilities as a board member. I inquired with Dr. Shades about the appropriateness of the thread for Spirit Paradise, and I received an affirmative response. In your view, shouldn't the next logical step be for Canpakes to revert the thread back to the main body of the forum as I kindly requested?
