Morley, malkie, I rest my case.
TTOC
 There was no need for that, I’d already finished with you
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

I thought TTOC meant no more engagement? Was that another lie? Anyway, no need to answer that, you’re dismissed.

Sadly, I would have to agree. All concessions from our mental gymnast have now been walked back by various word "meaning" entanglements, goal post moving, whataboutisms, etc., ad nauseum. Even his 'TTOC' use doesn't hold!

They were always ambiguous at best. He actually didn’t concede what Morley and malkie thought he’d conceded. He’s weasly with his words. Morley and malkie are good faith posters, and MG 2.0 took advantage of that. Again.

I know when, where, and how to use it. Trust me. ;)
I've had enough practice by now.
You have a good rest of the weekend too, Marcus.
I figured you would show up. Never fails.

By the way, I do think Morley and malkie are two of the posters on this board who lean towards the side of "good faith posters". Huckleberry, Kishkumen, drumdude, and a few others might be in that mix also. On the other hand there are some that I would consider to be "bad faith posters'.

Through and through.

Speaking in Spanish, Church President Russell M. Nelson told of the time several years ago when he and others aboard a small plane survived the explosion of one of the plane’s engines, the plane’s ensuing fire and sharp nosedive toward the likely death of all aboard, and then the pilot’s miraculous emergency landing in a field after the speed of the dive extinguished the fire.
That’s all true except for… (taken from the recorded flight record)
1.) Engine never exploded and continued to run though rough2.) There was no Engine Fire.3.) The Plane itself was never on fire4.) The Other Engine was never off4.) The plane made a “Precautionary" landing (meaning it didn't have to land except company policy dictates so) at the airport in Delta Utah and not a farmer’s field5.) There are other smaller issues with number of passengers, length of flight, cutting fuel line to both engines, and the date
Nelson first wrote the lie into his self published autobiography in 1976, wrote records were easy to find online for verification, presumably to get himself noticed by the senior Apostles. He’s told that same lie multiple times over the last 50 years. It’s a whopper. We had a thread about it.

Now, presumably, MG 2.0 will reward Morley’s and malkie’s faith in him by agreeing that the current President of the Church is a proven liar…
I suppose this is within the genre of stolen valour. When merely the Sunday School President, the ego-driven Nelson must have thought he needed to have something to bolster his “specialness” to attract attention of the grown ups. Especially as Paul H, Dunn was gaining traction with his own “parables”. It worked, it got him into the inner circle. But it was a big fat lie, told over and over and over again. I wonder what his children and grandchildren think of him now they now he dramatically enhanced an anecdote to make it sound like he’d narrowly escaped death, when in reality it was nothing of the sort.

Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
