Jacob when hit with a particularly tight answer he can’t get out of deflects with logical fallacy. He evidences this quite clearly in this interview once Trent shows he knows the game and isn’t willing to take Jacob at his word

Not much can be determined in regards to Jacob Hansen's work from looking at that clip. Earlier in the thread I provided a link to his YouTube channel. Watch complete episodes and form your own opinion. You will get short 'one liners' from those that populate this board that will simply condemn his work.

Here is a more in depth non one liner that represents Jacob's dishonesty. He did this video https://youtu.be/o-z_NBEXxIU?si=DLcG-rh06HWdvuaL on the book of Abraham. There was a section on his original recording where he said " not gonna lie it would be damning if this was in Joseph's handwriting ". Dan Vogel made him aware in the comments that it was in his handwriting and Kolby Reddish picked up on it and made this post detailing what he did. https://old.reddit.com/r/Mormon/c ... _mistakes/. Read both the reddit comments and the YouTube comments to see exactly how dishonest he was. Tldr? He took down the video erased that section and kept the same conclusion.

William W. Phelps, Oliver Cowdery, Frederick G. Williams, and Warren Parrish were scribes during the Book of Abraham translation. Could you point towards where we might find information showing that Joseph Smith wrote in his own hand any part of the actual translation?Rivendale wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 6:23 pmHere is a more in depth non one liner that represents Jacob's dishonesty. He is known to have written in his own hand parts of the Egyptian Alphabet and Grammar project.

Yep. He tried to whitewash his position and come out with a different one. He’s intellectually dishonest and unable to admit a mistake.Rivendale wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 6:23 pmHere is a more in depth non one liner that represents Jacob's dishonesty. Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

I corrected the bracket issue so it will work now.

If you read Rivendale's post it seems as though he is associating Joseph's handwriting directly with the Book of Abraham translation.
