I don’t know if any of you have watched the TLC train wreck of a show, Sister Wives, but for those of you who have, hopefully, you will find this funny.
My little brother is a professional opera singer and has a great sense of humor. He also does stand up.
His friend, who is a composer, is a huge fan of Sister Wives and wrote this piece, which is a musical dramatization of Kody’s “knife in the kidneys” tirade when his third wife, Christine, said she was leaving.
My brother sang the part of Kody.

Re: Sister Wives Opera
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
I started watching the show (with a lot of fast forwarding) just to see Kody get his comeuppance. He’s such an ass. All of his wives except Robyn have left. But this tirade lent itself so well to grand opera, I thought this was great.
Frankly, I think there are parallels between how Kody treated his wives and how Brigham Young ultimately treated his wives. Brigham had a favorite wife who lived in his mansion house and the rest of the wives and children be damned. That’s basically what Kody has done.
Thank heavens that the wives who left have all moved on to better lives, but the real victims in all of it were the kids.
