The Power of A.I.

Post by Shulem »

I prophecy in the name of King Pharaoh  that Joseph Smith's poopy Book of Abraham will be swatted down by the powerful thinking mind of A.I! Book of Abraham lies perpetrated by Joseph Smith will not endure. Everyone must know that ancient Egypt was not founded by a woman in 2300 BC as chronicled in Mormon scripture. The Mormons are just plain stupid!

It's over for the Book of Abraham!

Screw you, Mormon apologists! You too, John Gee, your soiled apologetics are an utter failure -- you little man. You screwball! Liar!

So says,

Shulem

Amen and amen!

Don't mention it

Post by Shulem »

The General Authorities do not mention the "The Book of Abraham" by name in General Conference other than on rare occasion. Could it be the brethren are strongly encouraged not to mention the book's title in public discourse?

Looking back:

The last time the book's title was mentioned in Conference was by a Seventy in October 2018:
Elder Shayne M. Bowen wrote:What are the “covenants of the Eternal Father” referred to by Moroni? We read in the book of Abraham:

“My name is Jehovah....

Prior to that, to find anything substantial that references the book's name, you have to go back to April of 2006 when President Faust mentioned the Pearl of Great Price saying, "In addition, we have another canon of scripture called the Pearl of Great Price. It contains the book of Moses, which came by revelation to the Prophet Joseph Smith, and the book of Abraham, which he translated from a purchased Egyptian scroll."

Rarely is the Book of Abraham mentioned by name ever since the papyrus was returned to the Church back in 1967!

Why is that?

?

I think it safe to conclude a First Presidency (long ago) set certain restrictions about topics considered inappropriate for conference talks. Thus, all manner of "Book of Abraham" controversies have no place in General Conference. It's really that simple. The brethren are restricted from addressing this subject and the members are denied the opportunity to hear in a live format whatever excuses Church leaders might make on the subject and become accountable for their words. But the Church at large remains dumb and the leaders even dumber.

I know with all my mind and heart that Mormonism is corrupt and run by men who have a seared conscience having been conditioned and brainwashed to think within the bounds the Church has set -- thus they remain dumb liars for their imagined Lord in a Church run by lies.

Can missionaries baptize a scholar who refuses to accept or believe the historical narrative taught in Abraham chapter one insomuch as they refuse to believe that ancient Egypt was founded by a traveling woman in 2300 BC?

BYU Egyptologist John Gee knows that Djoser's Step Pyramid was built in 2630 BC and the pyramids of Giza were built much later during the 4th Dynasty (2575–2465 BC). He also knows that precedent taken from the Bible in explaining when and how Egypt was founded in the Book of Abraham narrative is utterly FALSE. He knows!

And yet, Mormon apologetics bear false witness on every front and at every angle; it certainly seems that lying and apologetics go hand in hand. It's a shameful spectacle to watch. How hardy is John Gee an honest man!

John Dehlin made a comment on his interview with John Turner regarding the Book of Abraham. He said his view had changed from being one of the largest smoking guns which exposed Joseph's fraud to one of the biggest pieces of evidences promoting Joseph's sincerity. The reason? Joseph didn't have to imitate Neil deGrasse Tyson when he talked about Astronomy or build the Gael. I didn't find it compelling.

Remember, doubt your doubts, and keep your head in the sand!!!
I find it interesting that critics of religion and belief often use this analogy to disparage the believers.

Oh don't be so surprised, MG. Mormons use the same analogy to disparage homosexuals and people who enjoy sexual relations outside of marriage, much to the detriment of Mormon standards. Not so long ago, the Mormons would have voted to have gays/queers locked up and thrown into prison for what they consider to be crimes and an assault on religion. Notice how the apostle of Mormonism equates gays as vipers! It's right there in front of your eyes -- a gay man is a serpent.

ELDER EZRA TAFT BENSON, General Conference, Oct 1964 wrote:Sexual immorality is a viper that is striking not only in the world, but in the Church today. Not to admit it is to be dangerously complacent or is like putting one's head in the sand. In the category of crimes, only murder and denying the Holy Ghost come ahead of illicit sexual relations, which we call fornication when it involves an unmarried person, or the graver sin of adultery when it involves one who is married. I know the laws of the land do not consider unchastity as serious as God does, nor punish as severely as God does, but that does not change its abominableness.

Bottom line:

The Holy Ghost in Mormonism is the real enemy! The Spirit of intolerance born from the far right is downright evil.

I rebuke Mormonism and the Book of Abraham which is an evil book!

I rebuke you, MG.
