We all agreed he should not have been issued the license.
So why was someone who couldn't speak English issued a CDL? Was this due to a rogue employee ignoring the law or was this what the California government instructed their employees to do? Does Gavin Newsom even care enough to find out one way or the other? Will we ever be allowed to even know?
For the same reason some stupid damned idiots in West Virginia, who can’t rub two neurons together without getting outraged at having to think for half a second, are handed licenses like Trump hands out pardons to grifters.

Despite “Ethnic Cleaner Adolf Hitler” having another case of the ‘Fox News olds being mad for the 50th time today’, there is some truth behind the notion that the law is ignored when it suits those in power to wield it. But trying to get a god-tier shitiot like Ajax18 to understand the underlying reasons for his existential dread and why he substituted his brain for slavish devotion to power structures is just pushing a large rock uphill that always rolls back down the same hill. It’s an exercise in futility to think you’ll ever get that rock to stay put someday.

That’s to say, whether you’re a progressive or a conservative in America, it makes no difference, as far as the dmv working correctly. We’re the inheritors of a hysteria that was born out of so many influences, whether it was a second son seeking fortune or a Puritan seeking utopia, and it all results in a permanent American revolution. The goalposts are forever shifting and that’s a fact. What seemed unthinkable to the average American at any point in their lives will eventually become the new Way Things Are Done, and if you raise an eyebrow at it, you’ll be branded as a heretic.

Welcome to life, Ajax18. The snake will eat it’s own tail, and no matter how much you complain about people who aren’t you, whatever revolution you think you’re participating in will expire in one form or another, and people will still be bad at their jobs. You getting mad at a Brown killing people because a crony gave him a license is the same as me getting mad at a huwhite killing people because a crony handed them a license. What you should be mad at is your own inability to manage yourself and not be consumed by the revolution that’ll never end, one you won’t recognize anyway in 20 years.

Are you in favor of giving CDL licenses to people who cannot/won't learn English?
Of what significance is learning Enlish for the issue of a CDL (or any other type of driver's) license to driving in the US?

I'm dead dog serious here. Please answer me.

He's a racist, Jersey Girl. He doesn't have a rational reason, only an idiotic racist one.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense. It's also the favored cover for hypocrites.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

I think the answer should be obvious. But given that I asked you first and that this would go a long way toward figuring out why this happened, "Do you think that learning English is not essential to possessing a CDL and that it should not be required?" And to follow up on Schmo's point of view, is a requirement to learn English to get a CDL racist in your opinion?
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

No. And no.

I admit to being flummoxed by you, Ajax. You cannot stop whinging about taxes, but you seem to want the state to regulate everything. You bitch that the administrative state is not efficient enough in policing the border, running the DMV, controlling and suppressing trade, and regulating every woman’s reproductive system—but you don’t want to be taxed for any of it. You whine about big government, but you support an administration that’s making government bigger than it’s ever been.

You have benefited from the system in every way, from your state-subsidized schooling, to your highly regulated and protected profession, to your children in the schools. You didn’t serve in the military—you let somebody else take up that obligation. It’s no mystery why you hate this country—you think it should take care of you, while you should not have to give anything in return.

You Trumpian conservatives want a behemoth government, with its fingers in every pie, controlling every facet of people’s lives—but you don’t want to have to pay for any of it. You would happily bankrupt this nation—morally, spiritually, and fiscally—and then claim it was all someone else’s fault.

This even shows itself in something as peripheral as the Epstein issue. You rage that they’re not looking at Bill Clinton, but when it comes to questioning whether Trump was involved, you can hardly stifle your yawn.

No. And no.
I didn't ask you. I asked Jersey Girl.
I admit to being flummoxed by you, Ajax.
Probably because you see me through a leftist liberal lens and a mind consumed by Trump derangement syndrome.
You cannot stop whinging about taxes, but you seem to want the state to regulate everything.
Because I don't want progressive California giving non english speakers CDLs and then sending them onto Florida highways?
You bitch that the administrative state is not efficient enough in policing the border,
Actually Trump is enforcing the border very well, proving false Biden's claim that it was impossible to enforce the border without congressional action. It's worked so well that many illegals are self deporting. And surprise surprise, we're not in an economic recession nor is lettuce any more expensive than it was under Bidenflation.
controlling and suppressing trade,
I'm a follower of Ben Shapiro. I have concerns about the tariffs. But as of yet all we've seen is President Trump win better deals for American citizens. That includes you. If the tarrifs begin to hurt the American people, I'm confident President Trump will adjust his policy. He's not an ideologue like Biden and the Democrats who kept firehozing out stimulus money and scamdemic boondoggles while refusing to understand the inflationary consequences of it. And unlike Democrats who see working people as simply tax chattel to fund their socialism and new world order, Donald Trump has repeatedly shown that he puts the interests of the American people first, and yes ahead of the interests of foreigners.
and regulating every woman’s reproductive system—
It's not her reproductive system. It's a human being who has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And yes women have the right to choose to have sex and get pregnant. But they don't get to choose the consequences of those actions nor should they get to dictate who should have to pay the cost of unwed motherhood.
You whine about big government, but you support an administration that’s making government bigger than it’s ever been.
It's an administration that courted my vote. Unlike ideologically pure libertarians who believe that we have no right to have national borders, I believe that private property protection is a fundamental reason for having a government at all. And yes, I'll gladly pay for that when our government is doing what is best for the American people. And I'll continue to bitch when it's taxpayer money paying for condomns in Africa or to bring in illegal immigrants against the will of American voters and scatter them around the country at the expense of the American taxpayer.
You have benefited from the system in every way, from your state-subsidized schooling, to your highly regulated and protected profession,
I had to perform among the best white and Asian students to earn my degree. Black people could have chosen my profession and not even have had to perform as well as I did in school to attain the same letters by their name as I have. But most of them couldn't/wouldn't even do that. That's right, they couldn't even best a piece of poor white inbred trash from Appalachia. Beyond that, the laws were the same for all competitors. Should medicine be a true free market based solely upon, buyer beware? I would say yes, but that's not what voters have chosen to do. But we all had the same choices put before us on what to do for a living.
You didn’t serve in the military—you let somebody else take up that obligation.
I signed up for selective service and would have done so if I were called upon to do so. The military turned out to not be the right path for me financially. Now that the country is mine again, I'm more than happy to fight and sacrifice for it.
It’s no mystery why you hate this country—you think it should take care of you, while you should not have to give anything in return.
I've asked for a national divorce from progressives for a long time now. We don't want anything from you other than for you to leave us alone and let us have our own country. But you'll never do that because you know that a coalition of liberal white elites and a majority of impoverished, illiterate, undisciplined, lazy, unskilled, minorities of the lowest moral character would be a worse disaster than Cuba or Venezuela without the WASPs they hate to do the work, pay the bills, and make responsible life choices in line with their culture and genetic predispositions.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Go to the supermarket to check this out. Not having people to pick the lettuce will always affect the price.

Are you trying to convince folks that after more than a half-decade of commercial driving on highways that he used a cross-lane emergency turnout because he couldn’t read a sign that may not have even been there?

Or did the driver just not care about this not being allowed, or didn’t notice that another vehicle was close enough to hit him?

In my part of the world, the sign stating that these are for ‘official/ps/emergency use only’ is usually missing. The chance that anyone employed as a truck driver for any length of time over a month wouldn’t figure out or learn from co-drivers and working peers that these are usually reserved for emergency vehicles is probably nonexistent.

It’s more expensive. I was shopping earlier today and lettuce was one of the items on my list. I’m guessing that ajax may not be doing the family’s grocery shopping very often.
