I like that you mentioned being responsive to your student’s interests.

As an aside, have you ever encountered a student and thought, “That is another me?” I remember a while back you mentioning a student with whom you were impressed.

Sorry I missed this, msnobody. I have not run into a student and thought that this person was another me. I would feel bad for that person if I did have that thought.
