Fibber, can you really be so clueless? The issue at hand is not a matter of your personal beliefs, but rather the manner in which you present your own. When you enter a public forum and share your views, you invite a certain level of scrutiny and pushback. It is not an attack on your faith to question or challenge the claims you make, just as it would not be an attack on a person's belief in the moon to question their claim that it is made of cheese.
Your belief is your own, and it is a personal matter. However, when you bring it into a public discussion, you must expect that it will be met with questions, challenges, and disagreement. To label this as an unwarranted and cheap trick is to misunderstand the very nature of a public forum. While he claims to engage with 'investigators' and 'lurkers,' one such individual, Limnor, has stated that he feels 'pity' for Fibber, which completely undermines his stated purpose.
I have had very little, if any, interaction with Limnor. I don't know whether I would or would not place him in the same category that I place you and some of the other 'die hards'.
I do feel some sympathy for Fibber. His home life is not good and maybe this board offers him some comfort and solace in some strange way. I really do home his family life improves. I wouldn't wish his current situation on anyone.

The gradual slide you speak of was less of an apostasy and more of a conscious decision to value transparency over blind obedience. As for my past claims, I stand by them. My bishopric was an experience, and those who served with me know the truth, as do several people here that know me in real life. It seems your definition of "truth" and mine have parted ways, substantially.
