Scenario A: Years ago I knew a very right-wing guy who didn't like his dog. I'm not saying right-wingers don't like dogs, generally, they love dogs, which shows how broken their moral compasses are. He didn't hate it, he just didn't want any effort and was pretty honest about not caring about anything but himself. He got into a conflict with someone in the neighborhood. It escalated. As part of his tactic, he gave his rival a stern warning that he better not do anything on this list of things, including hurting his dog. His hope was that the guy would cross the line so that he'd have legal ammunition. Dog wasn't hurt, but later he gave it to a rescue (I hope).

Scenario B: Since Rev brought up Grande on his thread, Grande has a recent upload about a guy whose daughter was assaulted by some creep, the creep was convicted for it and did some time, got out and then kidnapped the daughter. The father had a sense of where to go, found the guy in his truck with daughter and ultimately shot and killed him.

It's unlikely that there are videos of this father strutting around his Rumble room full of guns talking about all the creeps out there checking out his daughter, and then waving his guns around and warning if they try it, bam!, that's what they're going to get. Only someone who truly didn't care about their family would do something like that.

Alex Jones and all the derivative Rumble channels have exhausted themselves predicting left-wing political violence and warning the left they're loading up on guns to protect themselves -- "just give us a reason" is the subtext. ldsfaqs put it like this once: we've got to get into the faces of liberals with out guns and when they react, shoot their asses!

All these social media folks threatening civil war over this tragedy and threatening any out-group with revenge and death and civil war and everything, are they more scenario A types or scenario B types?

There's a difference between being the justified vigilante and fantasizing about being the justified vigilante, trying to provoke people you don't like into making you the justified vigilante, and all the while not really caring about the price tag for the justification.

No doubt in my mind that all of the MAGA folk calling for retribution against "the left" fall into the Scenario A type. There are also plenty of regular MAGA folk, especially the young ones, who genuinely considered Kirk a personal hero and want to see the shooter executed. Our own Hound-eats-Hurl is definitely a Scenario A type. He is eager to use the death of Kirk for his own purposes and continues to do so gleefully.

I watch a camera YouTube channel made by this Brit who has immigrated to Cyprus. He is a delightful fellow. I was surprised to see that he was a fan of Kirk and really upset about Kirk's murder. I don't see him behaving like Hound-eats-Hurl.

Well, they have been known to shoot them, just like they have with rival politicians and activists.

How long are you going to dwell on Charlie Kirk? You can't mourn the dead forever. It's time to move on. Charlie's family has, and frankly, Erika Kirk is young and beautiful enough to have no trouble finding another neo-Nazi to marry.
Given the unimaginable horrific reality that the Kirk family must now somehow navigate, I hope that they will be spared from encountering such vile, hate filled, and deeply dark comments like this. Unfortunately, I don't believe that this widow, nor their two young children, will be spared.

If you happen to be married with young kids, I hope you will never have to experience this type of unbelievable pain - and if you ever do happen to experience this level of unimaginable pain/loss, I hope that you don't encounter people like you.

Good to see you, ceeboo. I hope you are holding up OK.

Ceeboo,

It is, without a doubt, a truly horrific reality that a family has lost a husband and father. The unimaginable pain is something no one should ever have to experience.

Your sentiment is a touching and deeply human one, a compassionate plea to spare them from the very kind of rhetoric, hate and behavior that their late husband and father was so skilled at dishing out.

And you are absolutely right. The best way to honor his memory is to ensure that no other family ever has to endure such vicious, vile, disgusting, hate-filled, and deeply dark comments. It's a testament to the power of his words that he's been able to inspire a whole new generation to rise up and defend his legacy of civility, love and kindness.

Is skill your threshold? This board has dished out hate and rhetoric on institutions and people for decades. Is your tolerance higher for that hatred and rhetoric because it is unskilled? Or, because you like the dishers and not the dishees?
