Your disingenuous word substitution in service of painting a dishonest narrative is noted, but get your names straight. It’s ’Team
Amazing Shot’. ; )
Again,
proving the point.
So now we’ve got Molok imagining I was lurking in the shadows “hoping” for giddiness, and the Professor solemnly blessing that take. That’s not rebuttal — it’s projection stacked on projection. And then we get the “revenge against the infidel” flourish, which is just an eye-roll: casting yourself as the victim, again, for being in a debate, again, and not having your assumptions taken as fact, again. Same move, different day.
You’ll have to take up
that pearl-clutching moment of yours with Morley. I won’t speak for them.
When Team Amazing Shot can’t defend the words themselves, they assign or assume motives they can’t quantify or qualify. It’s the standard apologist trick: dodge the plain meaning, then recast the critic as the villain.
1. Thanks for getting the words correct.
Baby steps, right?
2. There’s nothing to defend about use of the word, ‘amazing’. On the other hand, you may need to explain why you’re working so hard to demonize the usage and to force-fit a square peg into your round hole of partisan hackery.
You still can’t even answer the question asked upstream about describing Hurricane Katrina’s destruction as ‘
amazing’. Your deflections - with paragraph after paragraph of crocodile tears and feigned outrage - aren’t covering for your dodges, either.
Meanwhile, the chopstick sabers of Team Amazing Shot get waved around like they’re super duper scary. But the larger picture is obvious: the alignment is real. The apologists rally, the Xenophones and the wusses sit silent, and everyone admires the sound of their own self-adoration inside the silo — a feedback loop, an echo chamber, a round of applause for themselves about applauding a killer.
What do you have against chopsticks? Is this some sort of coded racist message?
So thank you, Canpakes, for the rebrand — “Team Amazing Shot” it is. A band that writes its own parody. Filter would be proud. Whether you call it “amazing,” “wonder,” or “context,” you’re still dressing an assassination in applause. Outside this bubble, nobody buys it. Inside this bubble, you’ve made it your anthem.
Outside of
your bubble, nobody is buying your manufactured BS if you can’t even answer a simple question about word usage.
In the meantime, I’ve moved the
fainting couch into the room for you. Take all of the time that you need.
