This thread is intended to showcase some of the standout posts from various conservatives who have contributed here in Spirit Paradise over the last ten years. There is a wealth of excellent content that deserves to be emphasized, as this board is quite progressive.

Unfortunately, the conservative members often find themselves overlooked or regarded as lesser participants.

I truly enjoy Subgenius, ldsfaqs, and a few others, and I will be sharing some of their contributions to the forum so we can all appreciate their insights.

It would appear that the ldsfaqs post above would apply quite fittingly to (1) the Heritage Foundation’s new push to label as terrorists any transgender folks that consider themselves transgender, and (2) Trump’s proclamation this week. that he is classifying the nonexistent ‘Antifa’ as a terrorist group. Conservatives may be correct that MAGA is dipping their toes into the pond that ldsfaqs is supposedly warning about.

Maybe Hound will next repost some of those old ‘there is no global warming’ rants from ldsfaqs.

To the best of my recollection, my words were:

I can't wait to see highlights from Subgenius' thread wherein he promoted pro-Nazi holocaust denialism.

Truly a beacon of conservatism.

When I typed those words, I assumed it would be apparent it was cautionary about pedestalling Subgenius as an example of a conservative speaking truth, and accuracy, because of his history of taking pro-Nazi positions. Apparently my assumption was wrong. Or perhaps you think the holocaust was a lie created by the Jews to make the Nazis look bad, like Sugenius did?

So, I guess we get a two-for. You wrongly labeling me as a "progressive," and me thinking "conservatives are Nazis." Kind of wish my post had been longer, so we could have had a chance for a trifecta of being wrong. I think there's a coupon for a free ice-cream or something that comes with that.

Or some other ldsfaqs "truths," like him getting in trouble harassing black kids while impersonating a police officer, or him defending hitting his wife, or how he advocated that kids who get molested actually enjoy it.

I need to be careful here, or Hound will assume I think all of the abhorrent and vile things ldsfaqs advocated are things I think are conservative truths. Because I'm a leftist liberal progressive Marxist communist trans gay socialist, who farts in crowded elevators.

I remember that. Subs argued that there was no proof that Jews were gassed by Nazis during WWII.

He also asserted that Israel has the right to kill off any citizen of Gaza if it wants, even women and children, on the basis of ‘might makes right’.

And there’s the previously-mentioned ‘gay folks are brain damaged’ position.

I’m sure that Hound will get around to offering these up as conservative truths.

I do wish to apologize to Hound of Heaven for my previous reply.

Hound, I sometimes forget how long people have been posting here, and how well we all know each other and our "styles." The sarcasm of my secondary statement seemed obvious to me, but I realize that you and I haven't really had a whole lot of interaction before, and of course there's rascally Poe's law. My reply was uncalled for and incredibly presumptuous.

On a human note (not that it's an excuse), I have a herniated lumbar disc that's causing insane pain and loss of use of my left leg (and the insurance battle that comes with it), and I think I'm starting to take it out on other people. You don't deserve that. I've been a complete ass (or more of a complete ass than "normal") to ajax too the last week. The other day I took a passive-aggressive swipe at Ceeboo that's been eating at my conscience as well. Need to probably start saving replies to posts to let myself marinate a bit before committing them to the ole internets.
