" We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."
What was I doing over that weekend?

Honestly, it was a really tough weekend - It impacted me MUCH more than I would have guessed. I had many private discussions with my bride and my son who still lives at home. I spent some time on the phone with my daughter who lives out of state. When I had the chance (and nobody was paying attention to me) I sat alone, and thought, and thought, and thought. I thought about the younger generation. I am still thinking, and I am still mourning. I thought about my personal religious beliefs a lot, I thought about Charlie's wife and his two young kids a lot. I thought about the mom and dad of the assassin. I thought about the various reactions I was reading about and seeing. I thought about sadness. I thought about social media a lot. I thought about America a lot. I thought about not thinking. I vividly remember trying to step away from it all and watch a Netflix movie with my wife. I don't remember what movie it was or what it was about because my mind was far from said TV.

I do not remember desperately trying to characterize a kid, nor do I remember doing anything I could to score political points.

My friend, where in that sentence does Jimmy refer to Ceeboo?

Then can you explain how you interpret the quote I posted?
Sure. I can just read the words.

What is the subject of the sentence you quoted?
correct?

Could you say the subject is "the MAGA gang"?

You and I had very similar weekends.

What's your point then?

It’s clear that the individuals displaying desperation over the weekend were those like DrCam and other leftists trying to persuade others that the assassin was part of the Groyper movement. Their attempt was a complete failure, wouldn't you agree?

MAGA wasn't desperate, Kimmel lied!

Ceeboo sounds like he desperately needs a vacation though! :x

We're 17 pages in and no one can quote Jimmy Kimmel's lie.
" We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."

That was easy!

Ya know what?

Seems to me that counsel for the plaintiff has not shown any evidence of a “gang”, neither that a gang was “desperately trying”, neither that the assassin is a kid, neither that this so-called “gang” has done “everything” they can to “score political points”.

Counsel has made a score conclusion not based on facts. Specifically, what was the score before and after this so-called gang did so-called everything to score so-called points?

Further, counsel for the victim, Mr. Kimmil, has not shown that Mr. Kimmil’s alleged victimization is shared by proxy among the victim’s counsel or America.

One may remind counsel that the burden remains on the plaintiff to show where on this doll Sinclair harmed the plaintiff.

Okay okay okay. I’ll log out anc close the browser.

ETA: Proof that not everything was done to gain “political points”? Want evidence? Here it is: Kimmel gone. That was a bigger score than “everything” he imagined happening over the weekend.

Maybe Kimmel’s mama didn't tell him about putting a string of salmon around his neck and then pinching and poking a Grizzly.

The word "desperately" in the sentence is an expression of Kimmel's opinion. You may disagree with his opinion. But the expression of an opinion is not a "lie" simply because you don't agree with it.

In my opinion, "desperate" is a reasonable description of the immediate waving of the bloody shirt by MAGA politicians and influencers before they knew anything about Tyler. Your disagreement with my opinion does not make either of us liars. Whether statements by other folks could be fairly described as "desperate" -- or even more desperate -- is irrelevant to what Jimmy actually said.

Jimmy's opinion is not a lie.

Try again.
