So my question is really for those who rally behind MAGA (or “Magadonians” as Trump calls his fans). What period in the history of America does the “Again” refer to?

I feel rather stupid for never having thought of this question before you mentioned it.

Indeed, by its very nature the slogan "Make America Great AGAIN" has built into it the assumption that there was a time when America was "great", and that the person uttering the slogan wishes to restore the country to condition that the USA was in at that time.

So if you know, please tell us: when was the USA in the state of being "great' to which the slogan refers?

By the way, it is not an answer simply to say "America was great when it was <list of desirable characteristics>". The nature of the slogan makes it clear that a person who utters it thinks that there was a time when ithe USA really did have those desirable characteristics. Please tell us when that was.

On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 represents a disastrous country to live in and 10 signifies America thriving and providing everyone with the chance to succeed, the evaluation reflects a dynamic and prosperous environment "AGAIN=10". MAGA asserts that the Marxists have negatively influenced not only the Democratic Party but also America as a whole, resulting in our daily living conditions being rated a 5 to 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. The aim of MAGA is to overcome the Marxist progressives, restoring life to a level of 9 to 10 on the scale, where freedom can resonate for all!

If the aim of MAGA is freedom for all, why are so many freedoms being removed by Trump? The logo/motto makes no sense if AGAIN refers to a condition that’s never been achieved thus far.
