Next section:
These campaigns often begin by isolating and dehumanizing specific targets to justify murder or other violent action against them. They do so through a variety of fora, including anonymous chat forums, in-person meetings, social media, and even educational institutions. These campaigns then escalate to organized doxing, where the private or identifying information of their targets (such as home addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information) is exposed to the public with the explicit intent of encouraging others to harass, intimidate, or violently assault them. As in the case of several ICE agents in Los Angeles being doxed, the goal of these campaigns can be to obstruct the operations of the Federal Government as well as aid and abet criminal activity the Federal Government is lawfully pursuing. These campaigns are coordinated and perpetrated by actors who have developed a comprehensive strategy to achieve specific policy goals through radicalization and violent intimidation.
This section stitches together some things that actually happen and tries to create a vast conspiracy that doesn’t exist. It begins with a massive example of projection. Donald Trump and JD Vance, as well as other leaders on the right, have engaged in a mass campaign of dehumanization against their chosen scapegoats (immigrants and transgender people) and anyone not on board with MAGA. They routinely describe any Democrat as Marxist or Communist. Likewise, they accuse them of trying to destroy America. This dehumanization has gone on for decades, beginning with Rush Limbaugh. While those on the right seize on a single remark made by a politician on the left (deplorable, clinging to God and guns), they ignore the torrent of violent and dehumanizing rhetoric issuing from the mouths of leaders on the right. It’s not some randos on the Internet that weaponize dehumanizing rhetoric — it’s political and opinion leaders. Their dehumanizing rhetoric gives their followers permission to treat their opponents as subhuman or not human.

As far as doxxing, it exploded during gamergate and is employed by the right as often as as on the left. The biggest, most organized doxxing campaign I’ve seen to date was revenge on people who used politically incorrect speech about Charlie Kirk, which cost hundreds of people their jobs. Doxxing, swatting, pizza ordering are all revenge tactics deployed by bad people of all ideologies. They aren’t confined to the left.

I’ve read about lots of incidents of doxxing. I’ve seen no evidence of a doxxing strategy other than punishing someone that someone’s mad at. If the administration wanted to seriously pursue doxxing and swatting as crimes, more power to it. But not under a policy that ignores the same conduct by the right.
Not even close to credible. The idea that the left just had a couple of stray word slips from politicians is laughable. For the last ten years, their main political weapon has been branding anyone who disagrees with them as fascist, racist, Nazi, Hitler, KKK, misogynist. you name it. That hasn’t been a side show; it’s been the entire playbook. Entire movements, media ecosystems, and political campaigns have been built on smearing opponents with those labels. Pretending that’s just “a single remark” while ignoring the avalanche of slander is pure gaslighting.

Sure, dehumanization is bad. But let’s be real: when you spend a decade running a campaign of calling half the country Nazis, racists, or Hitler, don’t be shocked when people stop giving you the benefit of the doubt. That’s not victimhood. It’s a natural FAFO consequence. You convinced everyone that constant name-calling was just background noise, and now you want to act shocked that people tune it out or push back harder or post memes.

The response you’re defending omits reality entirely, and that makes it worthless. If you can’t acknowledge that the left has mainstreamed exactly the kind of mass dehumanization you claim only exists on the right, then you’re not offering analysis. You’re running cover.

Only the far right MAGA types are actually advocating and using the tactics and actual mass dehumanization and bullying, beating and unlawful imprisonment, deportation and even killing of their political opponents, as notoriously used by fascists, racists, Nazis and Hitler during their rise to power leading up to WW2, not the Democrats and progressives. They fully deserve to be characterized as Nazis and Fascists and justly condemned and arrested for such tactics, even if it were true that their opposition was just as guilty of the same, which it is obviously not! It still remains statistically and demonstrably true that political violence and terrorism far more often is perpetrated by far-right extremists than by extreme leftists, like it or not!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Gunnar, this is why you are called you Gunnar the Dumber, you keep writing this kind of post! What do you not understand? The way you talk about Trump and conservatives in general is what gave the Republicans control of the Senate, Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court. Because you're so ignorant, calling Trump names hasn't gotten you anything in the ten years he's been a politician, except for two trips to the White House for Trump!

Progressives and how stupid and incompetent they were helped Trump win more than anything MAGA ever did. People like me who are Democrats are emotionally being forced to switch to the Republican Party by your attitude, cult mentality, and narcissistic behavior. Millions of Americans who used to be Democrats and I don't want anything to do with the narcissism and pure hatred that leftists feel they have to spew every day because they're angry that Trump has shown the American people their Marxist cult story.

Since Trump beat the progressives, they didn't know how to deal with it politely or come up with an alternative to MAGA. Instead, they chose to try to burn down America because Americans don't agree with their cult ideology and your childish, narcissistic behavior is driving people away from the Democratic party. So please keep calling conservatives racists, nazis, and fascists, because your narcissistic, childish behavior is making people have to vote Republican! You're committing political suicide, and you don't even know it because your beliefs keep you from seeing that you're in a cult!

You obviously don't understand what a progressive really is or stands for or even what is meant by the very term "progress!" You seem terrified by the very concept of progress or positive change. I still stoutly maintain that opposition to effective DEI is just a euphemism for hateful bigotry! We really have only two viable choices: to progress or to retrogress. If we reject the former, we automatically default to the latter, like it or not!

Just as Trump and MAGA are trying to deliberately retrogress our country to a time when women and minorities were denied equal rights under the law to those granted to obscenely wealthy, white male landowners.

It's funny how neo-Nazis apparently hate being called Nazis, so much so that they'll vote for a damned Nazi.

Strange.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense. It's also the favored cover for hypocrites.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

I’m waiting for examples of the name- calling on ‘the left’ having been incorporated into Executive Orders that identify political opponents as terrorists, or examples of where Democratic Presidents have publicly declared that they hate half of the country and that citizens expressing different ideological opinions might need to be killed (“We can’t just let these people live”).

If you can only equivocate with random name-calling, then you’re just running cover.

“I was forced to vote with the culty narcissists because you called them culty narcissists” will never be anything more than another example of blaming your behavior on other people.
