The last fan I had fixed was the condenser fan to an AC unit about 3 weeks ago. I just paid the guy to do it. Replaced the old 1.4 amp with a 1.8 amp fan. I guess that's replacing not fixing. Fixing a fan would be impressive. What did you do, replace bearings? Please tell me you didn't just blast it with wd-40 or dry-lube. I guess that would count if the problem went away.

We had to reseat the damn thing at the roof. Fix the drops and find out why it wouldn't fire up. It was wired poorly.

Apartments were trashed. Children were awakened and zip tied. Thirty to forty citizens were zip tied and held in U-Haul vans.

The first thought is how dumb this is. It's season 50 of the Apprentice. Unfortunately, I still think it's effective advertising for the Republican brand for certain kinds of people. There's that slim hope that the billions and billions in funding will eventually dry up in lawsuits the way the LDS Church is spending their cash empire -- way down the road.

The second thought is it's the next step in the "fake it 'til you make it" dictatorship. What can he get away with against those most unable to protect themselves? They'd rather be doing this in Beverly Hills, I guess they don't see that as viable yet, but I don't know why.

I think what proves the immorality of the base is that it's happening in Chicago. Why isn't Ajax crying that these forces aren't cleaning up his city? The only answer is to admit it's culture war punishment rather than a serious effort to implement policies that they believe in.

I think everyone realizes it's an entirely unsustainable kind of operation. It's basically terrorism. I assume you saw the video clip of the horde of ICE agents chasing after the guy on a bicycle declaring he wasn't a US citizen and they couldn't catch him. The striking thing to me was all these uniforms standing around with nothing to do but get trolled.
