We're obsessed with his culinary habits, and the identity of his grandchildren, apparently. According to DCP it's a top priority to discover her name so we can shame him for being a lousy grandparent.
This forum's debauchery knows no limits!

Well. Well well well. We agree. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.huckelberry wrote: ↑Fri Nov 07, 2025 7:18 pmI find it a pleasant surprise to find a positive note about Peterson here. I am not particularly a fan of his but the anti Peterson theme has been beat to death to my mind. Something new could open a door to discussion.
John Dehlin said this was one of the least viewed Mormon Stories episodes he ever did. It's a snooze fest. When I was a believing Mormon, I tried showing it to my non-Mormon family to demonstrate that scholars could believe in Mormonism. They listened to about 5 minutes and then politely asked me if we could listen to something else.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 11:43 amhttps://youtu.be/CT68sIf4gAw?si=DHKcBEZFger8lJfg
Part 2 of Peterson's Mormon Stories interview. No matter what one thinks of Peterson, he's very intelligent!
Is that the one where he describes the veracity of dowsing?Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 11:43 amhttps://youtu.be/CT68sIf4gAw?si=DHKcBEZFger8lJfg

Have you considered writing a biography of Daniel Peterson? The information you have on demand is remarkable. The world could be a better place if you shared the product of your tireless research into this one man.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 11:26 pmYes, and the 3 Nephites.
The real marvel of this definitely-not-made-up OP isn't Horndogger's sudden, giggling school girl crush on Peterson, it's that Horndogger has issued iron-clad, pinky-swear declarations about Mormonism being false, and now he's apparently a born-again Peterson fanboy. What caused this religious 180? Did one of Peterson's riveting videos on pre-Columbian horses, dowsing rods, the 2nd Watson Letter or numerous plagiarisms finally melt Horndogger's hardened skeptical spirit? Perhaps Peterson's lynching photos or homophobia were the breakthroughs Horndogger needed!
Whatever the catalyst, I totally believe Horndogger and this OP is absolutely not fabricated, just like his classic, highly plausible accounts involving a 1970s car trip across the entire Pacific Ocean to some heretofore unnamed island, presumably using a very sturdy, sea-worthy station wagon. Peterson once lamented his mission resulted in zero conversions, but it seems Horndogger is his first, a true miracle!
If I recall correctly, AtlanticMike has done the same thing both here and on MDDD, so at least there's precedent.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 11:26 pmYes, and the 3 Nephites.

But entirely misguided. Intelligence is no sure bet to being correct and accurate and right.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 11:43 amhttps://youtu.be/CT68sIf4gAw?si=DHKcBEZFger8lJfg
