What's the basis for the 2 week suspension?

The prior temporary ban, imposed last month for repeated use of the ‘c’ word even after a warning, was one week. Doubling the time on subsequent bans has precedent, although it would make much more sense to simply have Binger back in the queue rather than subject to a ban on activity.

This time around, it’s a bit more of (but not limited to) a Tobin Syndrome situation, but if you read through the past few days of posts within the top several threads in Paradise you might get a good feel for what’s going south and why.

All communication between Binger and myself today via PM has included Shades and Xeno.

If an individual begins to repeatedly post the same non-sensical or topic-unrelated comment to multiple users, then I read that as a form of spamming. The word can be interpreted in multiple ways so my definition or situational interpretation may not always jive with Shades, but Shades always has the final say.

For duration, the two weeks was predicated on a previous suspension being one week. Therefore, another violation bumps to two. No individual time outs were given for (1) excessive and repeated use of profanity, (2) inserting content into quotes that did not originate with the quoted person, or (3) asking if you wanted to ““F” every person on this forum that did not vote for Trump”, but they tilted the decision about spamming into a time out.

Just a quick observation for Dr.Shades! No need to answer me.

Since this morning, Can'tpakes has spammed this thread a page and a half, talking nothing about the thread topic. This is the same thread Can'tpakes banned Whiskey for spamming.

Between the 18 post Can'tpakes posted in this thread and moved to Prison, plus the ones he still has in this thread that have nothing to do with the thread topic, he has posted 38 post that are off topic. Meaning, he, more than anyone else has cluttered up this thread with post that are off topic and against the board rules!
