Hey Canpakes! We are on page 13 of this thread and i had to go all the way back to page 8 before I found a post written by you that has something to do with the thread topic. From page 8 to 13, you have posted 15 times and not one is discussing the thread topic. Isn't that against the rules?

I see two parts to the question, Jersey Girl: (1) rule violation and (2) duration of the suspension, so I’ll speak to both.

For rule violation, I would interpret what was happening as spamming, as mentioned in UR8:


If an individual begins to repeatedly post the same non-sensical or topic-unrelated comment to multiple users, then I read that as a form of spamming. The word can be interpreted in multiple ways so my definition or situational interpretation may not always jive with Shades, but Shades always has the final say.

For duration, the two weeks was predicated on a previous suspension being one week. Therefore, another violation bumps to two. No individual time outs were given for (1) excessive and repeated use of profanity, (2) inserting content into quotes that did not originate with the quoted person, or (3) asking if you wanted to ““F” every person on this forum that did not vote for Trump”, but they tilted the decision about spamming into a time out.

No, which is the reason why that post was not moved and also not considered ‘spam’ in and of itself.

I honestly see it as an attempt at humor on his part but it may not read that way to some parties or visitors.

Neither, most likely, was anything else reported. Though, after panny issued a ban based on his own report, it was promptly reversed.

After the initial move of almost a dozen posts or so, the rest were added as they occurred. I was content to play along with Binger because it was generally a harmless exchange but most of my replies do not require or invite a response. Binger continued to add Old Testament responses to the main thread and I kept moving them out and would respond in the split thread. Binger would then add another response back into the main thread.

Back in this main thread, Binger decided to move on around page 8. On page 10 the ‘are you talking about me?’ statements start, including posting to one of my responses to Molok. Rather than repeat removing another 40 posts or having to navigate this same response to every other post, I mentioned the time out.

The only difference - you are a moderator so you jacked up the thread, blamed someone else, then banned me for responding to your comments politely.

The report feature can be used in all threads.

You can’t use it to report being rejected for being a Trump voter when asking someone for a date, though.
