So, no more red meat in this forum. All we have left is a single solitary jellyfish, infinitely slithery and elusive, and even if you do catch him he doesn't taste of anything much.

The toxicity of the virus and its ongoing nature of spreading keeps many away. As it is, I’ve found it rather interesting to observe over time. But it can be rather sickening unless one keeps their distance.

So, I understand you to say by keeping your distance and posting less, the sickening nature of this board doesn't bother you as much.

Yes, but keep in mind that he’s got 7,500 posts with his 2.0 iteration. Imagine how many it would be if we took into account his 1.0 posts. He posted another 500 times or so as “mentalgymnast”. It’s an ironic achievement for someone who preached the notion that people should spend less time on their keyboards. It’s like he doesn’t practice what he preaches, which to be fair is a very Mormon thing to do.

MG, please let’s please address this. I think Huck has made a good point. I’m genuinely interested in your opinion.

Many who have abandoned Church affiliation believe that they’ve often heard Church authorities blame their defections on a desire to sin, laziness, or just being trivially offended. Understandably, ex-Mormons take umbrage at this. Are they wrong? Are they perceiving something that isn’t really happening?

Many on this board also have the impression that you sometimes engage in this same behavior. Again, are they wrong?

Truthfully, I think we would have to sit in a circle in a room and have a transactional face to face discussion on this rather sensitive topic. Want to arrange that? I’ll show up if it isn’t too far away. Please, after Christmas.

I was a faithful Mormon. No booze, drugs, masterbation or anything "sinful" my whole life.

I may have picked my nose a few times in Sacrament Meeting.

I didn't leave "the Church" to sin.

But after I left, I married a good woman five years later, we have three wondeful boys, and I started doing all all those things eventually. And liked it.

But none of them now. (I think my weiner fell off last month. I need to check.)

Maybe I can be a slave in the Celestial Kingdom after all is said and done.

Especially if he was to quote wretched verses from the Book of Mormon and horrible threats from the Doctrine and Covenants that breathe out threats against those who criticize the Church. In all seriousness, the Doctrine and Covenants is a disgusting compilation of insidious threats made against those who oppose Joseph Smith's truth claims. It is a hate book!
