Could you explain how that justifies shooting him to death last weekend?
First explain to me why Ashley Babbit deserved to be shot to death for trespassing at the capital building.
First find where I stated that Babbit deserved to die.

Then tell me how your 5000 word distraction answers my question to you.

Why was ICE justified in killing Pretti?

So if I spit on you, and the police come to detain me for it, the police aren't allowed to take me to the ground if I resist arrest or refuse to stop. Ok, I understand where you're coming from now.
Is ICE allowed to pump you full of bullets for that?

Spitting is arguably worse than taking pictures and shielding bystanders. Maybe you’ll tell me that the number of bullet holes left in the perpetrator should be doubled for that?

I think the point is that Alex Pretti and most of the insurrectionists seeking to violently obstruct and stop border enforcement are not the saints the media is making them out to be. The mainstream media would have the public believe that ICE is just going out and indiscriminately killing illegal immigrants and American citizens, hence everyone needs to be in fear of ICE, when in reality if you're not violently and or softly trying to obstruct immigration enforcement, you have zero chance of being killed in a confrontation with ICE.

Even if you don't deserve to die, if you're out obstructing immigration enforcement, vandalizing vehicles, violently resisting arrest, spitting on officers, then you very well are justified in being wrestled to the ground. Your rib very well could get broken in the process. And if you're insolent enough to go back out and do the same crap day after day nonstop (since Alex Pretti wans't even working as an ICU nurse at the time but more than likely as a Soros paid insurgent) and you're armed, getting mistakenly shot by police who perceive you as a threat to their life has a lot higher likelihood of happening! But this is what Democrats wanted. No number of lives of their own matters, if it means keeping the border wide open and the means for the left to get back power. If you cared about impoverished people seeking to illegally immigrate to the US, you'd go to work and send the money directly to them. But helping alleviate 3rd world poverty is not the concern of any democratic socialist party. Their only concern is securing power.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

No. The point is that neither Good nor Pretti required killing for doing what very little that they did.

I’m still waiting for you to tell me, as example, what Pretti did, to deserve being shot to death. Surely you can do this if you believe your own reasoning, right?

Perhaps you should ask yourself how the Obama Administration managed to deport millions of individuals without running into the same issues as the Trump Administration. The media is correct to point out the intentional differences in the approach between the two, which is the genesis for protests and attention.

Absolutely. Wrestle away. Show us your best moves and pin skills.

However, being shot to death by ICE for shielding a woman who was rather violently pushed to the ground by ICE is not warranted. But maybe you’re going to tell me why it would be. Maybe someday?
And if you're insolent enough to go back out and do the same crap day after day nonstop (since Alex Pretti wans't even working as an ICU nurse at the time but more than likely as a Soros paid insurgent)
I keep asking my MAGA friends just who is it that I need to contact about these sweet Soros payouts, but past making the accusation, none of them seem able to provide any proof of such a claim. I’m left believing that this is the sort of thing that unimaginative or bitter people tell themselves is happening when they refuse to accept that someone else might just not share their own point of view, while being willing to take a public stand about it.

Maybe you can do better, and provide some proof of these payments? I’m pretty good with drawing posters and would like to earn a few extra dollars from this gig, if it’s true. I can make silly signs that have nothing to do with ICE or immigration, even. It would waste Soros’ money! And I’d be supporting the local economy with purchases of poster board and Sharpies! C’mon, ajax, help me bleed the beast by telling me who I need to call about this.
and you're armed, getting mistakenly shot by police who perceive you as a threat to their life has a lot higher likelihood of happening!
Yes, I suppose that never exercising any of my Constitutional rights could keep me from being shot by hot-headed, ill-trained goons playing G.I. Joe.
If you cared about impoverished people seeking to illegally immigrate to the US, you'd go to work and send the money directly to them.
This has always been such a remarkably stupid argument. It’s akin to saying that if you cared about babies being aborted, then you would birth the child for the mother and take care of it, for anyone who’d otherwise abort. But you’re not going to ever do that, are you? How silly does that sound, right?

On the other hand - and in the true spirit of capitalism and free markets - allowing someone the chance to emigrate from another country to the US and therefore seek better employment themselves and/or take better care of their family is the idea that drives a lot of the sentiment behind allowing immigration. But we can’t do that, any more, because the default judgment of MAGA is that immigrants are always less human and completely undeserving than any person who happens to spring from the loins of a resident.

If I was judging from a strictly moral standpoint, I’d say that the Democratic position of allowing immigration with reasonable requirements holds the higher ground over the present Administration’s total shutdown of immigration … while allowing only one exception geared to satisfying a hateful conspiracy theory concerning White Afrikaner farmers.

I'd like to know the answer too.

Certain people seem to be advancing the position that if some federal agents find the behaviour of one of their fellow-citizens inconvenient or annoying, they have the right to shoot them dead without risking any penalty.

I don't recall any of the Founding Fathers saying that this was the kind of country they wanted to found. But then, what do I know?

The officers didn't want to have to kill Good or Pretti. It was a tragedy and it wasn't intentional. But when you do what they were doing, that's the risk you take, just like Asley Babbit, just like George Floyd. And liberals have no right to stop immigration enforcement by violence when they couldn't do it through democracy. What about Laken Riley who was murdered and raped by an illegal immigrant just because she went jogging? Or what about all the people carjacked by juvenile black criminals who know they're immune from criminal accountability? That's what needs to stop. That's what should be the highest priority

I'm in favor of bringing in immigrants. But the numbers and timing are based on the interests of the American worker, not the would be immigrants. While a robust welfare state might be attractive to a single mom from Guatemala who has no skills nor means to contribute, it's not what the American people want or need at the moment. I could see sending private charity to her. But by no means do liberals nor foreigners (especially wealthy ones) have the right to bully working Americans into providing for her and billions like her whether they agree to or not. That's where we differ.

   Really? I watched the videos numerous times from numerous angles and perspectives. You have to either be blind or an idiot to conclude that it wasn't intentional!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Didn’t want to have to? Like, they said to themselves, “Gee whiz, I sure wish that I didn’t have to kill this guy, but I have no choice but to kill him”? Or maybe someone else grabbed their hands and pulled the trigger of the guns they were holding?
It was a tragedy and it wasn't intentional.
What were they actually intending to do, then, when they pulled the trigger?

Since you can’t bring yourself to answer the question of what Pretti did to justify ICE shooting him to death, perhaps you could answer a different question: What would have happened if Pretti hadn’t been shot to death? ICE had already disarmed him before they fired on him, and they were 6 officers deep on him.

For taking a picture.
I'm in favor of bringing in immigrants. But the numbers and timing are based on the interests of the American worker, not the would be immigrants.
Based on what? Do you require 0% unemployment before anyone can apply for citizenship? What is this undefined criteria of yours that’s required to allow immigration?
While a robust welfare state might be attractive to a single mom from Guatemala who has no skills nor means to contribute, it's not what the American people want or need at the moment.
As I’ve pointed out previously, your logic here demands that we deport every non-working mother in America.
I could see sending private charity to her.
Apparently not. You’re not going to do that any more so than you imagine your political opponents will. And since we can’t let a single mom into the country because neither she nor her child are worthy of the chance to prove themself to you, then she won’t even have the chance to receive private charity in this country.
But by no means do liberals nor foreigners (especially wealthy ones) have the right to bully working Americans into providing for her and billions like her whether they agree to or not. That's where we differ.
Where we differ is in that you believe that there are “billions” of single moms on welfare sucking you dry, and that it’s acceptable for the government to kill people for taking pictures or exercising their Constitutional rights.

Why hasn’t Xanax opened a private practice wherein he accepts no monies from the federal or state governments? Why is he such a welfare queen?

Also, lol @ the Fascist Whisperer. Apparently Xanax can read the murderers’ minds and know in their heart of hearts that they didn’t want to kill their fellow citizens. Remember when that agent called his victim a “damned bitch?” That was remorse, not hate.

Let's just take one of those cases. Pretti was down on the ground on his hands and knees, held there by a number of officers. He had not drawn his legally carried weapon. Indeed, that weapon seems to have been removed from its holster and thrown aside by an agent before he was shot - we have all seen the relevant videos. He had done no act that could be considered life-threatening to an agent or anybody else.

So why did the agent who began to fire shots into Pretti's back "have to kill [Pretti]"?
